I think Her guard stance is very cool, but it's something I needed to practice more on. It's cool seeing what kind of setups into that move can work! ^^

It probably misses on Guile because flash kick moves him forward and the second hit is delayed. Armor moves in SF6 appear to be based on having armor hitboxes put in specific places, rather than all your hurtboxes being given armor property, so my guess based on what you showed is that the first hit of flash kick makes contact with the armor hitbox and then the counter activates, with Marissa moving toward Guile and Guile moving toward Marissa. Then the second hit of flashkick goes all the way past the armor hitbox and makes contact with Marissa's actual hurtbox, damaging her. That's my guess on what's happening. It feels like that's an oversight, but who knows.
Marisa armor in stance is really just the initial part of the counter. So Guile ex flash kick being so slow + Marisa armor is gone at that point after counter is why she loses out I guess
I say start slow with the basics of the game. This game has a solid tutorial system imo for helping people learn characters n just learning the game in general if you’re new. And everybody solid so it’s a matter of just using who you want 🙏🏾

I don’t really do tier list talk cuz idk the cast enough to give my opinion as if I do know them 😅 But so far I feel like her damage is overshadowing the flaws she have and people are rating her high based off that alone and not knowing about her flaws just yet
I definitely don’t see her higher than A tier which is where most people have her at. She has very clear weaknesses. Her moves are on the slower end even though her damage is disgusting, her buttons are very easy to outspace with a lot of the most picked characters having longer reaching buttons (Ken, Chun, Cammy), she has no good DP to discourage people from jumping in (Her stance stops them from hitting you with jumping attacks but doesn’t discourage people from empty jumping into a grab for punish counter)
