I would say it helped some, but I still get a fair amount of wind buffeting at 65 mph (I'm 5'8", 30" inseam). **To anyone else that tries this, just be careful when pushing the wellnuts back in- don't try hammering them in like I did. A little silicone lube makes it easier to insert them. I broke one of them broke, ended up just putting a lock nut on the lower side, it seems to hold fine.

Thanks for sharing. My screen has becomed yellow and dirty and I will unmount the screen to polish.I will use toothpaste and a wipe. It should be like a new in 30 mins!!!
What's up dude! I had inherited a 650 executive from my grandfather after his passing, and for the firt couple years the windshield worked well for my height. It's sat for a while, and in that time I've grown a few inches. Can you recommend any method for making the shield taller? My grandpa put some holes on the sides to make his windshield wider, and those pieces have vanished in the last few years, but i'm really curious about trying to get the shield taller before I start to ride it more and more.
i am not faviliar with the givi, on the oem shield you first insert the wellnut, then the screw an finally push it in by placing the shiield over the bracket
