I have the Pro 3 and really like it. Having the longer battery life and premium build is worth the extra cost. I also like the bezel and bigger display. Coming from a Moto 360 1st generation to the Ticwatch Pro 3 was a major improvement for me plus all the watch faces and apps I purchased over the years work on the new watch. Very happy with the purchase.
One thing to note about these 2 models is that neither one is waterproof! I have owned both of them and both of them stopped working or lost some features (heart rate monitor) after swimming. Water damage is not covered under warranty, as I learned the hard way.
I had the budget for the new TWP3U but went with the E3 instead. I just prefer the design of the E3 a bit more. If only the features are the same as the TWP3U, it'd be the perfect Wear OS watch for me.
Great comparison, I'll definitely subscribe...I just got my E3 yesterday, it's a solid watch. On the fence about upgrading to the Pro...I wish there was only a $50 difference lol
Viewed & read many reviews by now. No engineering figures yet for the brightness & contrast of the screens. "Reviewers" have published that AMOLED on Samsung, etc smartwatches are brighter, more contrast. This is because the Ticwatch Pro 3 has its OLED "damaged" by the monographic screen display between the viewer & the OLED lighting. Generally the smartwatch reviewers envy the powers & flexibility of Samsung's ring switching. My local supplier (Australia) told me a few hours ago that the Galaxy Watch 4 is not going to arrive here in Australia till next year. Galaxy Watch 3 & 4 have "Fall Detection" in the Google Playstore. Old people like myself also need the SOS alarm-notification systems as well. Unlike Apple, The Playstore has many versions of these and other applications. Still undecided which of the four Androids to choose: with either Ticwatch or Galaxy.
Listening to your reviews truly feels like listening to a real human being, away from all those crazy special effects and all that sensationalism that most reviewrs on youtube do. Not just another product advertisment 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
I finally got the pro 3, I prefer it more than anything I’ve had lately. All around I just like it more than the galaxys and apple stuff. Thanks Chigz, great review.
I'm looking to get a new Smartwatch, not really interested in the health or fitness functions; but would need to have BT Calls and Google Pay... Apart from the new Ticwatches with The Snapdragon 4100, are there any other options for me to consider? Thanks
Right now it's hard to not recommend the ticwatches or the new galaxy watch 4, the rest are just obsolete since google announced that wear os 3 it's going to be available only for these 2 and upcomming smartwatches, not for earlier ones
TY for shearing. Seams to be my best option so far. Any 1 know if it has a tally app like golf strokes ? Also I need it to display my HR 24/7 without having to push a button. Does each one have altimeter and compass ? PLZ let me know if it can do these for me :)
Huawei GT 3 Pro all day long. Better battery life, better app,... you do get the picture I am trying to paint. TWP3 battery is nowhere near the advertised 3 days and don't get me started about their joke of the app by Mobvoi.
Top drawer comparison and great to see a smaller Wear OS watch with the latest 4100 chipset. Do you think this watch will get the new Wear OS version 3.0 once Google/Samsung release it in Aug onwards? This development makes buying a Wear OS watch risky at the moment.
I have some new inside info, it looks like the new WearOS 3.0 will be available to all WearOS smartwatches running SD 4100, not just Samsung. This is exciting news, but we are still waiting for an official announcement.
Isn’t the pro 3 you had here cellular aslo. That kinda makes the $100 bump reasonable along with the duel display (which is OLED over the E3’s LCD and is also bigger) and the bigger battery.
I have the E3 debating on sending it back for the pro. One reason I can't read the E3 in sunlight has anybody compared the pro to the E3 in sunlight? Also not happy with the E3 battery life with a pro could bring better satisfaction.
I tried the Pro and then the E3. There is no problem with using the E3 in bright sunlight. The fonts on the watch are large and on the thick side. Easy to read whilst exercising.
The TFT screen is noticeably cheaper in quality, No where near as premium as the Pro 3. Bezels are also there. It’s a cheaper watch at the end of the day.
Iam gonna buy one ,I have 3options falster 3, e3 , galaxy watch 3 Note: I don't care about tizen or wearos ,I need a solid watch for 1-1half yrs so that when I get a job I can purchase a premium one ,
@@ChigzTech my understanding is that Samsung watches won't get the update but it's up in the air if the newest chipset Wear watches will get the update. I could be way off on this and hope they all get the update.
Why anyone would want Samsung involved with wear os is beyond me... Should we expect a shell game with access to heath feautes in wear os now also? Samsung's Tizen ecosystem maybe smooth but between brand crippling & playing games with important health features? They make even Apple look respectable in comparison.

Great comparison, thank you. I honestly would pull the trigger on either of these in a heartbeat... If only they had s blood pressure function. Yes I agree, Pro 3 is a pretty amazing watch.
May I ask how long have you had a Pro 3? I've read it tends to have many hardware and tracking problems down the line.
@@Dancky2 I got 2 watches replaced with broken hardware out of the box. It's been 3 weeks since I bought 1st swatch, currently waiting for 3rd.

The LCD screen with no autobrightness is the major let down for E3.

Can we use Spotify offline away from the handphone on the E3?
Are you able to reply to text messages on E3

Auto workout detection starts 5 min after the exercise begins? That's a bit slow, isn't it?
Nice comparison I will buy the e 3 soon.
But it has an LCD

The E3 looks great but battery life and the lack of an OLED display is causing me to lean towards the pro 3 which I've already seen as low as $230.
currently you can get the e3 for free ;)

Great battery but the step counter and distance traveled is wrong. I use a watch for fitness counting and this just is incorrect.

In pro calling and nfc is available..?
Yep... sorry I didn't watch this sooner 😕
Great video as usual! Does the Pro 3 work on iPhone in the U.S.?
Yes it does
That Bezel though..... It looks like a great watch until you realise how big that bezel is.
And an LCD screen
Yep my biggest downside is this unusuless and huge bezel, and the missing of a scroll component like Galaxy Watch Classic or Apple Watch
