Great review! Always fun to inspect cool new watches! I decided to buy the Pro 3 last week after 1,5 years of using the S2. It has been amazing so far! Great battery life and the diffrence in speed is absolutely magnificent! Wishing you the best Mihail😀
Hey Tobias - always positive and informative as usual! The S2 has been great and is my favorite design from Ticwatch, but it's true that Pro 3 is really powerful and battery life is amazing. Very much hope the new WearOS editions will be compatible with it too!
I was wondering if TicwatchE3 has this sensor where if we touch the screen with whole palm , the screen will turn off or switch to always on display if it is turned on?
Which one should I go for? E3 TICK WATCH PRO2020 Watch active 2 Watch 3 Skagen flaster 3 Oppo watch I don't care whether it's tizen ,or wear os ,am looking for a solid smartwatch which can be used for 1-1 half yes after that I would upgrade to premium when I get a job ??suggest me
Hey Aksha, that's a tough choice. I'd suggest sitting down and making a priority list about the features you need the most. THink about the following areas: - price - operating system features - battery life - charging speed - smartphone app - health tracking features From what I see - you are targeting a smart-smart watch. Galaxy Watch 2 has really good prices lately if you don't necessarily need Wear OS. If you do - E3 is a great starter pack which has all the features of Ticwatch Pro 3, except for a great display and barometer.
@@TechMishka how's the battery on e3? The only thing that pulling me back from e3 is the bad haptics and lack of autobrightness , And the thing that pulls me back from active 2 is the very low internal storage
Looks like a good entry level watch. Will be interesting too see how wear os evolves. Did you notice anything different with fitness capabilities on this one vs the ticwatch pro 3?
Thanks for the comment, Chris! Yes, there is a different behavior - the Ticwatch Pro 3 has the secondary FSTN display which is nicely visible in daylight and is the one used during sports, which is much nicer in my opinion. Other than that - it's the same.
I bought the garmin vivoactiv 4s and i was really unimpressed as it was £270 and wasn't worth the price tag so i sent it back and got the tickwatch e3 for £170 and I'm amazed by how good it actually is, does everything i need and more what put me off was the plastic design but it's actually really nice, i like the watch strap you have and also the yellow watch face, where did you find it?
It's worth mentioning that this is absolutely the worst time possible to buy a WearOS device, as WearOS 3 is just about 2-3 months away, and it has been confirmed that no current watch will get the update as it will require new hardware. On it's own this watch is an amazing value, but in just about 3 months it will be unsupported and as many wearable apps rely on online services an unsupported device is as good as dead.
@@TravelwithAustin Here, didn't even have to wait 24h for this. Google is not committed to update existing smartwatches to Wear 3.0 www.androidpolice.com/2021/06/17/revamped-wear-os-could-technically-come-to-your-watch-says-qualcomm/ Still possible, just very very unlikely, especially give Google's track record.
There have been multiple articles saying that 3xxx and 4xxx series will be able to handle the update. Google will lose a lot of customer if they decide to not update the older devices. I'm optimistic about it.
Yeeeyyy! Another giveaway! What are the chances if I win again? #TicwatchE3giveaway BTW, are the comments limited to one per person? :D I am still hoping for some software update for my TicWatch Pro 2020 but still nothing...
It was about time! 😇😎 Good luck this time too. As for the comments -limited to one per account. If you have a friend that likes the watch and would like to win it - invite him/her to participate. I also see some friends complainign that there have been no updates. But so far - there hasn't been too much going on with WearOS anyways. Let's see what will happen with the Galaxy Watch 4.
Very informative, but I think the PRO deserves the extra 100$.. The screen is a huge difference. Would love to own a TicWatch anyway so #TicwatchE3giveaway :)
Hi Alexis and congratulations about your new Ticwatch E3 that you've just won from the giveaway! Please get in touch via email - contact@tech4all.net so that we figure out how I can ship you the prize 🥳🥳
#TicwatchE3giveaway Great review. I had issues with the first Ticwatch E and Pro when it came to the speaker failing. I'm a little nervous that IP68 is suitable for swimming even if this is tracked. Also with Wear OS 3 on the horizon I'd really like reassurance that the watches will be upgrade to the new OS once it's released later in the year. A watch that lasts 4 months isn't an option if this isn't the case. Would love to test one out though.... :)
Hey Jeremy, you raise some really important topics here. I am also interested to see what's going to happen with WearOS 3. Perhaps the current devices won't just become obsolete. But the controversy surrounding it may well explain absence of other brands using SD4000 series. Wishing you good luck about the contest!

Didn't work on my unit - guess it's not available.
It's $159 on Amazon now, I grabbed one immediately.
Lovely price!
I have the E2, it's good, but I wish the charging system wasn't so unreliable.
Many people have reported issues with Ticwatch Pro 3, I've never had a single problem. Very solid with E3 too - so far it's rockin' ! 😍
@@TechMishka yeah, it seems like the E3 has a different system, I hope the change fixed it. Great review!

Very nice review! Just one question, can you install Discord on that watch? And if you can, is every features work well?
Better use your smartphone for Discord.

The yellow face is something Igot from Facer, but I cannot recall the exact name...
#TicwatchE3giveaway Looks like a promising watch. I don't mind about battery since we charge it overnight anyway. Good luck everyone!
Hey, good luck to you too, Steve!
I just found it for 157$, Is it worth it?
Totally!
Does it have auto brightness?
No, it doesn't.
The yellow strap looks great on the watch 🙂
It does. Probably the best "feature"! :)
Will this watch get the new wear os?
It has the latest Snapdragon processor, so I do hope it will. Let's see if Mobvoi will confirm that.
@@TechMishka crossed fingers
I read it's confirmed for mid 2022
very nice review...that bezel, though...ouch.
Agree, that was not on the TW E, not sure about the TW E2. Not liking that huge bezel, very surprising and disappointing
A big one! Can be used for self-defense 😇😎

There is no confirmation that new hardware is needed for the new WearOS. If any watch would get it it would be the SD4000 Watches.

dude ticwatch e3 features a 4100+ chipset not the traditional 4100 one...

Yeah, not using AMOLED screen has other drawbacks than just the brightness. But it's cool anyways. Good luck to you!
A big no to NO LIGHT SENSOR.
Yes, I was shocked about that too. You could say everything else is great and then no light sensor for a watch for 199 $?
Not being AMOLED - I think it won't make huge difference anyways.
