I own a Ticwatch Pro 5 and it's my last Mobvoi watch. Little to no software updates and no Google Assistant are deal breakers for me. I've switched to the Galaxy Watch Ultra and am not looking back.
Thanks for the video! As always, you have great insights. I see that (since I’m testing this watch too) the main (flagship) wallpaper also shows the wrong date-31 OCT. Let’s not forget that after the 5 Pro, the Enduro version was released as well-so there were quite a few models, differing only slightly from each other :(
Thanks for asking me. Here I am biased - I have some concerns about Huawei's marketing and won't review it. But if I have to be completely honest - I'd go with the Huawei because of the build quality and the battery life
I've got to say I still think of their smartwatches as something amazing, I would totally buy one of theirs newest at the time I was searching for 1, but their history with updates, well I ended up with Samsung watch 5 pro... the only thing I'd love to have on mine is the FSTN display.
Lately, I feel that it might be a much more complicated matter than expected. Perhaps politics involved too. No wonder that Fossil have pulled out of WearOS
I have the 3 Pro. Personally, the only thing I miss is Google Assistant, but I sideloaded Alexa and that works well enough. I think the boost in battery life is a good tradeoff for the vibrant colors. I can live with muted colors if I can get four days of battery life under average use and up to 45 days in essential mode.
I couldn't disagree more with your take on this device - wanting a bright, punchy display. The display here is very much acceptable and good, and I'll take the amazing battery life any day over a brighter and punchier screen (and many of your RUclips competitors would agree with me). If you want a punchier display, then there are devices for you... Get a Galaxy Watch 7. I'll agree with you on one thing though... It is most definitely too expensive. You can get a Ticwatch Pro 5 for half of the price of this when on sale; not only does it have pretty much all the same features, but it also looks much better in my opinion (and you could have been using it for the last year too.
Appreciate your input! From 2024's standpoint - it is not on par. But I can live with it given the FSTN. And hopefully there will soon be big discounts 🤗 P.S. it is good to see that at least some opinions differ. Otherwise the YT reviewer world would be too boring 🤔
If they put LTE and provide better and more often software updates, this smartwatch would destroy other opponents for it's price, it's my only concern that blocks me from buying it over the Watch 6 Classic

I can't say I miss my old fossil, it's hardware worked like a fossil of something ancient lol. @@TechMishka
When the ultra-low power display is on will it vibrate or indicate in any way that you have received a text message?
It won't trigger if you are in essential mode. If the FSTN is used as AOD, then it vibrates and shows a small icon about notifications
