In northern Indonesia, on one of its over 17,000 islands,
the young choristers of the Manado State University Choir (MSUC)
welcome the global university elite,
the Radcliffe Choral Society (RCS),
prestigious choir from Harvard University.
After an initial encounter in Boston
during one of the Indonesian choir's numerous international tours,
the singers reunite at the intersection of two worlds,
two cultures, and two musical practices
with such different vocations...
Documenting 21C delves into the daily lives
of the residents of Manado
and captures this encounter on film...
