This is the best “sausage patties” recipe I have found!! These are so so good! Don’t let the number of spices intimidate you, they go together quickly and don’t take long to bake. I did up the salt to 1 tsp. Well done chef Julia!!
I am making these now! I used hazelnut instead of walnuts due to allergy. It's not as salty or spicy as I thought it would be. Very good though 😁. Thanks for another recipe.
Hello chef Julia, I was looking for a vegan sausage patty and tried out your recipe. They are quite tasty with a flavorful spice profile and pleasing texture. Very easy to whip up and a great freezer prep item to have on hand. Thank you!
I am going to try this as it looks great. Wanted to tell you also that the E-Book that was in this years bundle is wonderful. I studied Macrobiotics years ago and many of the recipes are very familiar.
The written recipe says 1/2 tablespoon each of onion powder and garlic powder however on the video you say to use 1 and 1/2 tablespoons each. Which is correct?
You should be ashamed of yourself for making this clickbait. I clicked on this video to see sausage but their is no meat and no animal fat. Thanks for wasting people's time with your lies !

Can you make it without liquid smoke.
@@peachesandsugar1 yes. Leave it out. The small amount gives it a subtle flavor
Can’t wait to try!

It also says "plant based." Not clickbait at all, simply inattentive reading skills.
@@dawnd.4156 I read it just fine! It is not sausage and if your not gonna eat meat stop calling this crap meat was my point
You may want to start avoiding Nutritional yeast. It's not nutritional at all. Please look into
What is a good for alternative nutritional yeast?
@@Elizabeth-mh5zc I heard white miso paste, but in a smaller amount. Can not remember the ratio.
Can you substitute pecans for walnuts? Ugh I just took everything out of my freezer to find them and I had two bags of pecans.
