I've watched it 11 times in 3 weeks now. And I remember the 1st time I ever heard of the Beatles. I was 8 yrs. old, standing in line to watch "Jason and the Argonauts". And 2 barely teenage girls had a small transistor radio, listening to "A hard days Night". I'm an Army brat. We lived in Germany. A couple of yrs. earlier, the Beatles were playing in bars. Until they hit it BIG.
not sure if you guys cares but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can stream all of the latest movies on Instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend these days :)
Watched on RUclips. Thought it was great. What Danny said about writing was spot on. In addition there are writing layers and cinematic scenes with multiple levels all with direct ties to Beatles songs and lyrics. All wrapped in a sappy rom-con.
I nearly went crazy when I saw the trailer. I think I saw the flick on the first day out in U.S. Movie had some really good moments...I liked the actors. But honestly, I got really confused mid-way through the movie. I recently watched it on HBO and thought I'd figure it out, but was still like: ???? In addition, I'd have played up the listeners' emotions when they first heard "Yesterday." The "Let 'er Be" part and "Hey Dude" parts were hilarious.

The fuss has died down now but love the video and the movie (seen four times).
