Dude! Thank you so much for spending the extra time to do your Walking the Walk this early on! I know they take so much more time and brain power over normal videos. This is long form big brain content. THIS is what makes your work special. Well, this and your rock steady industry integrity.
Pumpkins are incredibly easy to grow. I live on a farm and we feed our cows pumpkin and anywhere they poo pumpkin patches pop up and since they grow above ground they really do not require much soil. We had some birds transplant some dropping from the cows onto the roof of a barn and we had pumpkins growing on the slanted roof.
How are they for suburban gardens?
@@uppercutgrandma4425 if by suburb residential areas. Is I see pumpkins being grown in the shittiest of fields, in some of the coldest months
@@uppercutgrandma4425 I am not sure but if they grow on my barns roof I assume they would have no issues in a planter box in a garden. They spread out via a vine so you probably just need a lil space.
@@TacticalSandals Haha yeah my horses eat my pumpkins and where ever they crap, a new patch pops up. I've taken my horses for a trail ride through the forest and there has been occasions where there is a random pumpkin patch. Birds must of eaten the seeds and then crapped them out sometime later in the forest.
@@papabetadine724 or the horses on a walk dropped some, but yeah pumpkins are super easy to grow there is really zero effort required. give them sun and a little soil and they are set.
Hoping to see this game get any patches it needs. Lots to like some stuff to hate.

I played the first 2 hours and reached the first save house in the City.. direxct 12 and everything maxed out..So far 0 issues
I love dying light dude but this game sucks
you forgot pin to message. :)
Love this series, it's great to recognise some of the nuances that the devs have worked tirelessly to provide.
Something I’m really appreciating is the unapologetic brutality in the environment. It’s really gory and the corpses lying around are freakishly realistic. This, combined with the dilapidated world and sinister soundtrack feels like a new level of apocalyptic. While the game isn’t quite near the level of Metro Exodus in terms of immersion and graphical fidelity, the design of DL2’s environment is appreciated.
I agree, damn I did the metro part going to PKs yesterday and damn it was stressing, or just being out at night, feels way more stressing than the first one.
@@TheLazyFinn Yea. Bro, I don’t know why people are shitting in this game. I know this game has its flaws, but it’s way better than most open world games in recent memory especially Cyberpunk.
Agreed but DL2 is a real downgrade compared to DL1 with physics and gameplay. And gameplay and atmosphere is why we all are returning to DL because DL1 didn't exactly have a great story, characters neither cut scenes but the gameplay+atmosphere pushed the game to success. And I don't think a patch will rectify gameplay
@@mraquaticnews5676 I don't see how gameplay is downgraded, only thing that I think isn't in the game is chase camera which I never used, I guess parkour can feel a bit different cause of the whole enchanced human thing, but combat is miles and miles ahead. Everything else you said is subjective though so I can't weigh on that.
@@TheLazyFinn Not Subjective because its not an opinion based on what I feel, my message is based on facts. Compare both games if you've got DL1 or check out comparison videos. DL2 gameplay isn't rubbish by far but the zombie animation are repetitive and DL1 animation was dynamic. Swinging weapon feels less meaty too. When throwing a gas canister in DL2 zombie animations are the same regardless of direction canister is thrown and in DL1 zombie animation looked quite realistic
I just finished Dying Light before the new one and saw an amazing environmental storytelling moment. I heard a sound in a building so I broke in and the tv was playing a cartoon so I looked around and in a closet there was a drawing of a little girl and her father missing an arm and dying. She had a teddy bear and a lamp so I guess she was surviving by herself after her father was killed. It actually made me sad and affected my mood from just a simple moment. I love things like this in exploration games so much. I love the walking the walk series it showcases the amazing details that devs put into the game and the loving touches that somewhat go unnoticed.
large city environments in games are just so much more impressive than just "nature" imo! Too many games these days try to get away with having huge open spaces be nothing but woods and meadows
by the way, ACG, you planning on doing one of these for Ghostwire: Tokyo? From what I've seen so far that game seems like it's gonna come with one of the most detailed renditions of a real-life megacity to date!
Love it. You have a wonderful knack for picking out little details and eloquently describing the work that went into them. Great video!
I love this format and how you go in to great detail. Someone might not like the game but how you give the details on how some great artist and developers has spent time to really make something great is something that is not looked up on often.
Truly enjoyed every minute of this. Now, I’m checking out your back catalog of these. Gratitude for your time, all the effort is appreciated.
While the first game was.. enjoyable, this second entry is really stellar experience. Yes, there are bugs, there is Denuvo, the voice acting is hit or miss, but overall experience is amazing. It´s so fresh to see developers creating open world with similar mechanics yet inovating in it´s design so well. The buildings, the fact you can visit so many apartments and hidden rooms, some buildings are really fucking tall yet still you can chill on their rooftop. The colours are ingenious, it helps the player yet it looks natural and beautiful. The view distance, air vents and other really cool movement helpers, it all creates such a fresh and fun experience. I am really, really glad it turns out so well and once again, Polish self published developers put multi million corporations to the shame.
Seems like you’re kinda dissing the first game 🤨 also yeah this one looks amazing and beautiful but from what I’ve seen they need to fix the rag doll effects to be fun like the first game and also polish the whole experience up but quite a lot. It seems to have launched in somewhat of a rocky state. I will definitely be buying it once they polish it up and only IF they actually fix the rag doll physics
Why the combat look so arcade? Realistic brutality woulda pushed this over the top for me
Guys I decided to go get the 1st game and im blown away I think its better than 2 and pt 2 is awesome
The characters are so forgettable in this one and also the combat isnt nearly as fun and the zombies are kinda irrelevant I think they are mentioned like 3 times in the story mode
CAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love that you take the time to appreciate the effort the devs have put into there games. You don't just focus the major flaws and strong points but you acknowledge the small details that are in the game. Nowadays i feel like too many RUclipsrs rush the content out, but not you. Keep up the good work man.
First ever walking the walk I watched was the DL1 one so watching this for DL2 is nostalgic and fresh at the same time! Great video ACG!
Not enough content like this on RUclips. Keep up the good work.
This so relaxing and informative. It’s really amping up my excitement for when I get my hands on the game next week 🤗
I’ve got 8 hours in DL2 now, had 600+ hours in DL1. The movement in this one feels significantly more floaty than the first, it has a more arcade feel to it overall ; rather than the original tense and suspenseful atmosphere of the first.
Parkour is superior, but combat feels a bit off. It’s better than the first but need tweaking.
It’s given me Shadow Warrior 2 vibes. I still like it but the stealth nerf has kept it from surpassing the original. Audio design was better in the first one too, for me.
It’s all an opinion, hope you all have a great weekend. You matter, even when you think you don’t.
Im not enjoying it...the game just feels like it's too color oriented and the dialogue is boring and tedious... I also don't like how there's all these human characters I have to fight...Very first thing I run into right after opening the world is 3 guys trying to fight me...like, why? Just too littered with enemies and overall just not the step up I wanted ...
You think its worth buying? I hear complaints about the story but tbh the story in the 1st one was kinda bad also but it didnt stop me from enjoying the gameplay in the 1st one
Can you explain the stealth nerf plz? I love stealth! Can I not use it in this game? If the stealth sucks imma wait for a sale. Thanks in advance 💪
@@hairychesticles1 Yeah, the gameplay is still good and gory...the dialogue though is just so generic and boring...at least you can skip all if it because it feels like a waste 9f time watching and listening to the characters.
@@ToxicAvengerCleanYourMind I feel you bro, I’ll probably have more buyer’s remorse in the next two days but I really hope you can at least recoup some of the cost of the game in entertainment value 🍻
I already picked up my preorder copy of Dying Light 2 earlier today. I look forward to exploring the fictional city of Villedor, despite some wrinkles, which I'm sure that Techland will iron out sooner rather than later. These "Walking the Walk" videos take a lot of hard work and require a lot of time to make and I greatly appreciate it. Thanks once again Karak for another wonderful video!
Thanks Karak saw your Skill Up collaboration always been a fan. Always respect your opinion. Always enjoy your content good sir. Like Ralph says. No one works harder and you deserve respect mate.
I listen to your walking the walk videos at least 2 or 3 times. Great stuff
Here we go, cheers for making these Karak! Very inspiring and always appreciated
Excellent timing. I clicked on YT to watch some gameplay and you drop this. Love this series, it's a great look at the details. Cheers.
My favourite reviews. Love every single one of them! Thankyou
Great video as always. Thank you for making these. Definitely gonna play today and take a look around.
I also love the npcs. At early in my gameplay I was a wimp and avoided zombies. But at one point I missed a jump and feel next to three zombies during the day. Two npcs were also close by and ran over and killed them. Makes the world feel so alive.
Definitely been looking forward to this and just purchased it regardless. Always enjoy the way you illuminate my awareness to different aspects of games that I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Thanks for the videos man!
I'm here for the sound effects on the blue rope lift lol! Great video
The combat looks compelling, has that rough & clunky grit that reminds me of Condemned: criminal origins.
This video is super relaxing for some reason. Thanks dude. Great work as always.
Ur review def makes me appreciate things in the game that u would overlook normally !
I’m 10 hours into the game and in my opinion this game has one of the best open worlds
I loooove the use of the UV/Blacklight for protection from the dark because in most films/games purple represents corruption. I just liked the added touch of flipping a color's identity on it's head and making it the very thing that stops said corruption, in this case being infected.
Karak calling a "Kukri" a keurig had me dying lol, great walk Karak enjoy it every time.
what i really like is the dynamic music system when doing parkour, its so nice
Like the content, always thought Dying Light was a game which can be played over years especially with the extra content, be interesting how many people go back after finishing the campaign.
Incredible game, reminds me off Fallout, AC and Skyrim all rolled into one but with Zombies. Bugs aside this is the best game I've played in nearly a year. Well done Techland, loved Dying Light and The Following and this game is turning out even better.
While playing it, I think it feels like a far cry game with zombies lol. Absolutely love it still playing every single night.
It’s so refreshing to see some positivity about the game
My favorite gaming series, so glad to see you already have one for this awesome game. You're the 🐐
This is the first walking the walk I've watched - I love this!!
This was really cool. I like the concept of a real walk around with good exploration content.
I'm glad you brought up the distance between your character and opponents during combat, as I watch all the footage from the game the one thing that really stands out to me is this very thing. It just seems off, like enemies are a little too far away to be reached with a melee weapon. It's pretty different from DL1
Great video man. Keep it up. I love the details in this game same as RDR2, Prey 2017, and Farcry Primal.
amazing vid, i LOVE this format!
I don’t think I have heard Karak say “cement” (see-meant) before this video. It is super charming. Thanks for the excellent content!
I really enjoy this format. Without a doubt my favorite game reviewer!
Fantastic video and greatly appreciate the steadfast aversion to spoilers. Well done. This has solidified my decision to buy the game to check it out for myself. 🍻
Oh man wasn't expecting a walking the walk this already. Christmas came early lol.
Only 3 hours in so far, but I am having a blast. This game is really a beast to run with everything maxed including RT. I really wish HDR was an option though as this would have been the perfect candidate.
I turned on hdr on the windows settings if you’re on pc and it looks a tad better and brighter.
It has hdr
@@user-rg6dg6fi9p It does not have native HDR support, unless it was patched in. Auto HDR in windows 11 started working for me a few days ago with this game so it may have been patched.
Just found you because of this game liked listening to you subscribed!
I love ACG walking the walk i just went back to watch a few of them bully & LA Noire & i have to say no one does this. This is unique on a platform full of lets plays/walkthrough.
Has anyone noticed in their playthrough that the rooftop encounters are always randomly generated when traversing the same area multiple times? I thought that makes it pretty cool, although unrealistic. Like I encountered a beehive area one day and then a bandit camp the next day, traversing on the same roof top.
Yeah they're definitely occurring a little too often, but I appreciate the fresh content popping up all the time!
If they turned down the frequency a little they'd hit a great sweet spot I think.
are you sure you just arent lost lol
I LOVE YOUR "WALKING THE WALK" VIDEOS. BIG THANKS FOR THOSE! It is like a CHEF is talking about the "Ingridients" in their coocked meals..... Makes me wanna play (eat) the games you show, even I didn't played them for months. I enjiy them more after I watched your videios. One suggestion "feel free to revisit" older games you showed, but with new opinion (after patches) and with a established experience about the allready done games. How crazy times change in years.... normaly laying in bed an watch a movie... No.. No... watching a walking the walk video.
Walk the walk ,climb the climb, jump the gap!
And as always tremendous work!
My computer's getting a little older these days, and I was VERY surprised to see that this runs like a dream on it and looks great too.
Weirdly it's working better than DL1 for me lol
@@mayberedacted69420 same actually. Got the first one on PC last week just to revisit it and it did not run great
@@Oliver_Hallowee to be fair there is a bunch of useless graphics options in the first game. Turn off all the nvidia crap, turn down draw distance all the way. Turn down shadows. And you can get 120fps 1440p on an older gpu easily.
@Christian Gormleywell do you have AMD or Nvidia.. that would probably be the first place i would look
@@JudeTheRUclipsPoopersubscribe well speaking of Nvidia i reckon some of the problems people are having with micro stuttering is because they have AMD cards and not NVIDIA.
Your efforts determine the weight of our wallets. Thanks, man!
38:15 “Balls out” on the instruments, ace haha
Awesome walkthrough review!!
This walking the walk is a version of chill podcast and talking the talk of the world desing!!
Would absolutely LOVE to see walking the walk for Deus Ex Mankind Divided.
I know it's an older title but I just played through it recently and I haven't been that immersed in a game in a long time, the entire map is like two small city blocks, way smaller than even the Yakuza games, but it's so packed with detail and it's honestly changed my mind on what to look for in world design, more games need to scale back map sizes.
I played it last year and I couldn't agree more. I was pretty bummed to find out that was it for the series.
Yes, the city of prague is amazing
1:03:00 "The guy stun by a beeeee" some memories coming back from... x')
I am new to your channel and this video is awesome! Looking forward to the Forbidden West one
You actually thanked your patreons. That's a pretty good step IMO.
Well, pumpkin is actually pretty good stuff as cooking components go. Very versatile, you can make a lot of stuff from it, sweet and savory, like, pies, stews, salads, porridge. And their seeds are good prophylactic against intestinal worms. And look how big those things are. So it makes sense growing them.
i just dropped a comments about this as well. I love how so many people think they are just for decoration. They are a squash, and squash has many good factors. they also last months after being harvested. Pumpkin juice is loaded with vitamins and pumpkins themselves don't require a lot of water to produce. So glad someone else said something :P
Very nice as always ! It reminds me that if I am not wrong you did not make a talk like that about Cyberpunk, do you plan to do it one day ? I am sure it would be very interesting.
Many thanks !
Great review, I love this game, it's so much fun.
I'm on the fence about buying this having been stung on various new games the past few years but watching this I can tell you're really enjoying playing it, think I'm going to give it a chance, thanks for the video
Amazing video I’m trying to cobble together reviews without spoilers and I really appreciate you tried to avoid spoilers as best as possible. That being said I’d really like to see you do an analysis video on the combat in the game I’ve been really wanting to see if they implemented better limp breaking like in dead island cause the X-rays in dl1 was really lack luster considering the X-ray did nothing to the actual model it was just an aesthetic thing
Idk who did it first but for me Yellow as a where you can go visual will always be synonymous with the uncharted series... can't wait to start this, also bought Sifu this morning too. We all knew you were coming but Feburary.... you weren't playing.
Great video game. Digging the world "deep dive"
Great video, Ive enjoyed it very much
Love these videos
Finally someone who knows how to analyse the game. Great great work man:))
I haven’t played this one that long yet, but so far I am LOVING it. I thoroughly enjoyed the first, and this is essentially that with some improvements. Hopefully the few patches that have released have ironed out most of the game breaking bugs. It’s hard to put down, for me at least.
Totally agree! I havent had anything game breaking yet other than some funny parkour issues (pole flung me super high and I died)
As someone who hasn’t played the first but see it on sale often, worth a play now or is this enough of an upgrade to jump right to? Thx!
@@michaellangan5037 that’s a tough one my friend. The first one is fan-f’n-tastic. I haven’t played this new one long enough to say, but If I had to guess this one is probably overall a better experience with more to offer. The 1st has the Following DLC though, which was also pretty damn great imo.
@@BobaVett the following was so damn good i remember people actually wishing they could nominate it as game of the year. It's not Blood & Wine, but it's pretty damn good
@@michaellangan5037 gonna go against the grain here, I honestly didnt think the first game was all that great, the story sucked and the open world was bland, gameplay was sorta fun but gets boring fast due to how dull everything in the game is.
Great video, I luv these.
I really love these dude. Thank you so much. The "walking the walk" series has helped me understand games even though I'm not a typical gamer. Has given me such an appreciation for the craft of game making. Really loved your Alan Wake Original Walking the Walk and Mafia III walking the walk.
Just one suggestion. I know its a lot of work but when you can please do console reviews. Your perspective is really valued and sadly not all of us have(or want)to be part of the PC master race.
Thanks dude.
It’s like an art critic but who’s stuff matters :)
im 18 hours in and haven't reached this city area yet..looks amazing. Best ive ever seen.
Thanks for the new Walking the Walk Karak! Hopefully a lot of people check this one out.
Three questions at the moment, First not sure if you went over it with the pop-in zombies. But I was wondering do the zombies just spawn out of nowhere or behind you like in the first game? The first game would have never-ending spawns for runners in some cases, Second question would be with a blueprint dismantle teaches you how to make weapons? And how's the weapon duration?
Some of my favorite vids are walking the walk
2:05 Dude! They put you in the game. Beard and beanie for the win!
ACG makes the best deep dives. LOVE walking the walk!
I was slightly worried when I first started playing, but I will say anyone that’s a fan of the first game or even interested in Dying Light 2 in general-give the game a chance. After about 15-20 hours it really starts to get fun and you start to notice the details of what they have done. In my opinion this is multiple times better than the first. Really enjoying the game after getting into it.
Man this February 2022 is solid packed with good games, sifu, dying light 2 elden ring etc...
ACG - do you ever plan on doing a video like this for Cyberpunk (perhaps once the expansion is out)?
I was wondering why there weren’t any cars until I thought about the fact that this takes place 20 years after the outbreak, and you can see car doors and parts being used on weapons and barricades
Your Disneyland reference on the rooftop reminded me of Peter Pan in the beginning before you know they go to the f****** island or whatever
Pre-mature eweapilation is the greatest new video game term of 2022. 😂 Love these walking walks man. Definitely picking this game up in the near future.
At around 14:07 I noticed a frame stutter. Is that normal with the game or a youtube issue?
This is one of the examples why ACG is the best individual game evaluators.
Everyone rushed reviews, barely strayed out of the Story questline, etc just to get Release week clicks.
ACG releases an honest (xRe)view Day 1 video, & then, these Walk videos seals the deal that he dives deeper into a game than those who just want to get clicks by being controversially harsh or merely putting on an act.
This channel rules!
the biew of the game is so great the debris and all but some of the cars look clean like windshields etc. just small things that really dont compare to the things they have done which are just outstanding!
have you heard the girl at a fire camp sing a song about the night riders and if they still exist? I thought that was pretty neat.
you not taking the reward from the captive you rescued from the bandits triggered my OCD bigly
The only thing I have an issue with is the combat and skill trees. I thought that they might've added more complexity to the melee since the game establishes that humanity exhausted its ammo supplies in the early days of the outbreak, but it's just a basic "whack > dodge or block > whack" loop. The talent trees are lackluster and some of the abilities feel redundant. It's not terrible but it could've been a lot better.
Have about 3 hours in so far I’m in love with this game!!!
I have base ps4.. and with the day 1 patch.. I have a really good copy
Only had zombies drop out like 2 times
Great game so far
Excellent video! I hope they add the option to disable the "x-ray vision" in a future patch. Seeing the zombies through walls breaks the immersion and minimizes the horror aspect of the game for me. I'd much rather be terrified of what might be lurking in the room next to me, than to see through the walls like some kind of cheat mode.
Can it be turned off?
I think it probably has something to do with the experiments done on Aiden and Mia. Just get further in the story and it'll make you very curious. Im not even halfway through yet and it gets crazy before you hit the city center
makes sense for a ubisoft rep to talk about the windmill....
Fantastic video!
Fantastic video, I completely agree the world is fantastic an just stands out and the way Mother Nature is taking over buildings makes it feel more like an apocalypse.
Sorry the algorithm doesnt support these vids. They are excellent and so fun to watch. Yet I rarely get notifications or see them on my sub feed.
I've been trying to duplicate military medkits and I still couldn't done it since the first dying light and now the second dying light I still don't know how to do it I'm looking for locks and lots of them
thanks bro, I just went out & bought because it's just one of those "must have" games, along the likes of Elden Ring releasing on Feb 25th at 1pm, however I live in the Mid west. I did set my X Box time zone to New Zealand timezone, I'm not sure if that helps.
How do you duplicate military medkits I've been trying to do that since the first dying light came out and I still have not got it done now the second one I still don't know how to do it military medkits I've been trying to do that and I still know how to do it
Dropping the "WTW" on the same day as the review is really nice 👍🏻, maybe you could do it this way more often…
