1. It's not about how fast I speak 2. It's about how I connect the last syllable to the front of another syllable, instead. Lemme keep these two things in mind. I'm waiting for another connected speech training from you, Hadar
This is the most useful English video that I found on the internet. Don't know how many times I asked about my problems in English to a bunch of people and nobody could define them. But you did it elaborately. toda :)
Hadar, thank you so very much for opening the door to get in the English learning world. You are an expert! You are the best! My wife and I love your RUclips videos we watch them every single day. Keep up the good work.
I've listened to RUclips and your podcast since a year ago. I listen to every day while doing my activities at home. Now I'm more confident and relax in English. thanks a lot from Indonesia 🤩
Great video Hadar. Love your content. I'm an international English student living in the US. The first time I watched your video was in class with one of my speaking and pronunciation teachers. He was trying to explain the difference between "sheep" and "ship". It was the first time I could learn the difference between these and similar vowels. I really appreciate how passionate and respectful you are in helping us build our communication and confidence.
Thank you for this clip. It helped me a lot as I am an Arabic in my first year To study the English language, but I struggle with speaking fluently. insha'Allah, I will apply all your advice in order to do well at university. Thank you again. ❤ Note: I wrote this comment using Google Translate for some words, but I really hope to go back one day and write and speak the language fluently. 😊❤
You are one of the best language trainer, I have learnt alot from you, let me share this with you: your training has really helped me as a language teacher. Thankyou
I don't know if I'm exaggerating, but it feels like it's 3 for me. I do connect words, but whenever I'm reading It sounds like a ROBOT, it's awful. However, your videos are keen tools for everyone who is trying to enhance their spoken English skills. Thanks, Dear Haddar
Great video and very useful Hadar! Please, after explanation of every phrase let's listen to the same phrase again before forwarding to another one. Just to imprint in memory. Thanks a lot!
Hadar, thank you for this topic. I always struggle with the connected speech in English. Very useful lesson. I am so happy to learn from you.❤❤❤ Keep it up.
Actually I can say since my own experience that when We learn from natives without courses or instructions We begin from copying the rhythm of language before to catching any words and then memorizing whole phrases and etcetera.
Interesting. This topic is something that never got covered in my speech and communications classes or any of my acting classes. But it is true! And sadly, the concept of connecting means that people aren’t enunciating properly.
I've stuided English for two years, I think connected speech is a consequence not a goal. These two year I couldn't achieve fluency no matter how hard I try.
Hadar, connecting speech sometimes it's heard as one long word instead of multiple words connected so it's difficult to distinguish exactly what a person said, most of the time I got the general idea by context. I do understand when you say separate words might delivery a different message. Yet I believe the struggle comes exactly because an ESL learner is not able to catch the whole sentence because most times phrases are said without breaks. Reading needs grammatical punctuation to understand, so same happens with listening, those pauses let you process the message. Why do you think this happens? Is it a matter of repetion and get used to the sounds? Do you think an ESL learner would be able to express themselves as a native does? Been using and learning English both in a classroom and by myself and yet I don't feel very confident with my listening nor speaking, in others words don't believe I've improved.
Wow, as a native english speaker you don't realize how much work goes into each phrase, connected speech is an art when used beautifully.
1. It's not about how fast I speak
2. It's about how I connect the last syllable to the front of another syllable, instead.
Lemme keep these two things in mind. I'm waiting for another connected speech training from you, Hadar

I just thought people do this naturally anyway. I never thought it's something that needs to be taught.
Excellent video
when i am reading something, and then i want to read aloud, it becomes a little difficult to connect. I´ll practice more about this.
😍😍😍😍 love it
You are really wonderful,
But who you are you teaching or speaking to?
The English scholars or the non-native speakers?!?
please make video on pronunciation of ""tolerate"".
Wow!
It’ s difficult to me. Your lesson, 10.
connected speech is the biggest obstacle that I face in English
I love your videos 🇧🇷♥️
Hadar this lesson is very important to me. Connect speech is to face The English on the streets or real life.
I've stuided English for two years, I think connected speech is a consequence not a goal. These two year I couldn't achieve fluency no matter how hard I try.
Awesome sweater! It's challenging to connect the words in a sentence yet :)
Hahaha thank you! I know , it’s both technical but also mental!

In the sentence of the photo I hear something like, "I still want to take a photo." Am I wrong?

any movies or tv shows with a lot of connected speech?
Connected speech is everywhere! Any show that you love is good for practice
Doesn't it just happen naturally when people speak casually and quickly? I never thought about actually having to learn it.
It doesn’t. It depends on the phonology of a person’s first language, and sometimes their need to sound clear translates to separating their words
@@hadar.shemeshgood afternoon my name is Geoffrey from Kenya I need more training from you?

For me is a hundred percent difficult to do it. 😢
