I'm Brazilian and I'm 48. I started studying English when I was 19. I have never studied in another country, actually I have never been abroad. I've been struggling to speak good English for almost 30 years, I was on the verge of quitting looking for the perfect course and then guess what? I got to know about this channel and decided to give it a try. To me, this is the best material I have ever seen in my entire life. Ethan is a heck of a coach, the way he explains every thing is just astounding. I am saying this because I have tried many courses on the web and RealLife English is hands down the most effective I have found so far. Aww yeah, I do need to share this video with some of my friends. I am sure they'll have a blast watching it. Thank you all for those amazing lessons. You guys are the cream of the crop. Way to go!
Thank you very much!
bongbong
Way to go Buddy

As a native speaker, I never realized that we actually speak like this, but it is so true. Mind blown 🤯
I wish all other native speakers speak like you. I can understand you, 100 percent. Thanks so much for your lessons
He's doin' so solely for us exactly what for ? Actually he wishes to make us capable to get everything what he speaks in video but i 'm just for sure about him , he speaks much faster with natives around him , what'd you think of it?
Bro you need to prepare your listening in order to understand whatever English speakers
Hahhhaaa....very funny.I also want this.but in real it not happen.we prepare ourself so that we can understand native
Me too! Fabulous lesson. And he speaks fast but very well articulated mouth!
I think all other native 'english teachers talk like him. You can clearly hear their vocals without any subtitles. And they mostly just spoke the basic word non native(probably) ever heard so it'll help learners to understand;)
He: why you can understand me
Me whispering: you're Perfect!!
Good job Ethan :)
I improved my understanding a 90%
I love this guy. I can say I'm fluent in English because of this channel.
I've been following this guy's tips for a long time. I think it took me 1year and half.
Thanks for sharing some excellent tips.
Now I'm working on my accent.
Wow, thanks!
Ethan, I believe the reason why your viewers understand you easily:
1. You enunciate clearly - most native speakers do not do this.
2. Viewers have an idea of what you are going to say, so they can "predict" what you are saying.
Maybe another one is: we are used to his intonation and voice.
@@ritasilva3121 - Yes, that is definitely another reason!
It's pure magic! I wonder how do we manage to understand Ethan
@@kimcuongtran5495 thank you for your comment, could you please also tell, how long you had been studing English before you began to understand all native speakers?
@@kimcuongtran5495 I see, learning a language is a hard job and it takes a long time to master it! Let us be persistent and diligent!
I love one of the phrases Ethan says in the Memrise course.
Slow: To hell with my boss, he is a jerk.
Fast: Tell with my boss, he's a jerk

This is the most amazing and useful English learning channel I've ever seen. And this is the most beautiful, useful, and amazing lesson ever made. Share this lesson to those learners who are disappointed to understand and speak fast speaking English, Definitely, they will fall in love with this channel. And you will do great help to them.
I am kind of surprised how all this came naturally to me. I am a native Swede living in Canada since 20 years back. I constantly speak fast connecting speech. Every single example you did.
I'm sure in some occasions my accent could show. But speaking and so on it's all natural for me and of course I understand everything when a "native born" speak fast connected and all the examples.
I don't need any of these lessons personally. But it's fun actually listening and seeing it all explained etc.
Thank you for sharing!
