I'm Brazilian and I'm 48. I started studying English when I was 19. I have never studied in another country, actually I have never been abroad. I've been struggling to speak good English for almost 30 years, I was on the verge of quitting looking for the perfect course and then guess what? I got to know about this channel and decided to give it a try. To me, this is the best material I have ever seen in my entire life. Ethan is a heck of a coach, the way he explains every thing is just astounding. I am saying this because I have tried many courses on the web and RealLife English is hands down the most effective I have found so far. Aww yeah, I do need to share this video with some of my friends. I am sure they'll have a blast watching it. Thank you all for those amazing lessons. You guys are the cream of the crop. Way to go!

Ethan, I believe the reason why your viewers understand you easily:
    1. You enunciate clearly - most native speakers do not do this.
    2. Viewers have an idea of what you are going to say, so they can "predict" what you are saying.

I am kind of surprised how all this came naturally to me. I am a native Swede living in Canada since 20 years back. I constantly speak fast connecting speech. Every single example you did.
I'm sure in some occasions my accent could show. But speaking and so on it's all natural for me and of course I understand everything when a "native born" speak fast connected and all the examples.
I don't need any of these lessons personally. But it's fun actually listening and seeing it all explained etc.
