Aftermarket LeeKooLuu backup camera with integrated video in mirror installation video on a 2009 Ford Escape. Even though I did the install on an Escape, it is pretty much a universal install.
This video details some of the tricks I used to run wires and a good review of this "LeeKooLuu CMOS Reverse/Rear View Camera and Monitor Kit for Car With 7 LED Night Vision". The kit including the mirror and camera was only USD $36. What a deal!
Excuse the camera shaking and word stumbling, making a video with a DSLR cam and filming myself while talking while tired is not the easiest, but I hope this video helps you out! Enjoy!

I did this same thing, but the video feed is very fuzzy, almost like a channel that is out of tune. Should the mirror also be hooked into a power source, or just hooked into the RCA red? Or should my ground leads be comeing from a harness, or just a screw to the body?

I grounded the mirror to the body, and ran the power through the RCA (so the reverse lights power it). I was getting the fuzz off and on for a while, but now its gone completely. I cant say I understand it. Not sure if this is coincidence, but a taillight was out, when I went to go replace it it was a heavily oxidized connection... I connected it and disconnected it a few times to clean it up, and light works fine, mirror does too. Perhaps loose connection on the light system?
