Nice original old school sound it reminds me of my up bringings in the lowa east side of Manhattan Thomson Square park when they used to come out and play wonder if they still do that anymore

I am so digging those congas, I’m not a big fan of synthetic skins but those congas allow the skins to give a nice whole sound, kind of almost sound like buffalo skins...
Old school sound / heard that growing up in S F. CA would go to the beach on the warm days & there would be countless dudes on congas / bongos / & all sorts of percussion instruments with with some good old red mountain wine in the big jugs for motivation / I’m talking about late 60’s / early 70’s. I was in my teens with my older relatives looking for a good time & an occasional FIGHT!!! Haha 😆 lol

(Congas too, as I have the same drums and heads) just the bongo really cuts! what series bongo are those and what is material used for the head up top?
