I totally agree with you on that one brotha Pablo Figueroa. Drums are like languages. And they speak a language all their own. When we learn to drum we are learning the language of the percussion. Just like a guitar player a keyboard player flute harps so on and so forth. Music itself is a language. Reading notes to play the proper tones. This rumba is rich with history and when playing rumba shares a culture all into itself. This is the single best percussive performance I’ve ever seen in my life, no video has beat the feel, and groove these guys had in that subway that day
That really was phenomenal drumming right there. I wonder if people realize how hard that is to do what the guy in the middle was doing - licking his finger and make his drum sing like that. So difficult.
Unbelievable how people dont react !!! I would have stand up and move my body with those great sounds of drums 💓💓👏👏👍 i m French and i loooove this😍 and u know, in Paris its same attitude when some musicians play in métro, people dont care.... ils so sad . MUSIC LIVE IS SO GREAT SPECIALY DRUMS!!
I like how the woman in the back was annoyed, looked like she didn’t want nothing to do with loud noises and then accepted it and embraced the beat of the drum and really laughed when the guy said: all good things must come to an end. They actually put a smile on her annoyed looking face if you think about it. That woman maybe needed that after having a bad week/month/day. All it takes is one thing to help someone else out to keep believing in society- one act of kindness can save a soul.
Its so hard to keep still when people are getting down like this. It's like they are channeling energy from heaven and earth and it gets in my bones or it's already in my bones, and my bones recognize it.
Damn, I lived in Philly for ten years; never had anything like this. Now I'm in SoCal; took up percussion, now playing in drum circles; so I can appreciate this, very much.

Sooooo beautyful !!! Thank You !!! Greetings from Germany.
These guys flow is exceptional..very nice..trancing..hearing this after a long day at work n riding home on the subway to would put me in the zone
This is the single best percussive performance I’ve ever seen in my life, no video has beat the feel, and groove these guys had in that subway that day
that, ladies and gentlemen, is something called CULTURE, and its seriously missed in today's corporate world.
That really was phenomenal drumming right there. I wonder if people realize how hard that is to do what the guy in the middle was doing - licking his finger and make his drum sing like that. So difficult.
Yeah he has no finger print on that finger lol. U literally gotta burn your finger on the skin to get that slide perfectly.
Glissando , not difficult...guys have a jam going on! Beautiful, talented!
How can those people not move to this it’s crazy … jah
They all sound good. Love the fast drum roll ability of the guy on the left.
Who wasn't watching the lady in the middle? I expected they'd be good but they're daymn good!
❤️ Sending good vibes from Tennessee. ✌️
Respect to this Brothas 🔥🙏❤ we all came from the same land . Good Vibes from the Carribean ✌🇵🇷🇨🇺
I love these dudes I'm from New York so everytime I catch them I always dance while they play
such great playing!!
such good vibes!!
I hope all three of these brothers and safe, in good health and still drumming . The love is felt
This is the kind of thing I have only seen in NYC, it makes for a cool commute when you get to experience something like this!!!❤
The late Master Drummer Ray Barretto would called these Brothers like one of his songs, THE SOUL DRUMMERS.
Reminds me of Santana times....... 👍 😊 great❤️🎶
Perfect! Didn't skip timing and great showmanship. They can play in any salsa or merengue band they want!
Brings back good memories of riding the train in the BX back in the day
If you want to hear more, they are The Last Drummers and here is their RUclips page: ruclips.net/user/TheLastDrummersfeatured
Its so hard to keep still when people are getting down like this. It's like they are channeling energy from heaven and earth and it gets in my bones or it's already in my bones, and my bones recognize it.
I agree! To hear more: they are The Last Drummers, here is their RUclips page: ruclips.net/user/TheLastDrummersfeatured
Damn, I lived in Philly for ten years; never had anything like this. Now I'm in SoCal; took up percussion, now playing in drum circles; so I can appreciate this, very much.
