For some that means being happy with their size not matter how big/small but for me loving myself is taking care of my body and health. I know if I had listened to the idea that intentional weight loss is bad when I was bigger, I would be obese, unhealthy and I would not feel happy in my body

You’re so right. Eating healthy is a habit, not something short-term if you want to keep the weight off forever. Sometimes you’ll be at a Chinese restaurant and want to order those greasy egg rolls. Eat it. But remember it’s all in moderation and for dinner, get an apple and a yogurt (or anything light) instead of something heavy and full of fat. Be mindful of what you eat, but don’t obsess. It’s easy for me to say now but it took me YEARS (7 years in fact) to get this down.

alot of people say that I need to lose overall weight for slim legs but I'm already skinny and and I don't want to lose weight anywhere else it's just my thighs that hold everything
I like that you talked about the body positivity movement. Wanting to make these changes for yourself shouldn't be shamed...it's personal preference. I want to look a certain way, and I want to live my life a certain way...if we're going to be body-positive, shouldn't we be accepting all bodies within a healthy range?? I have good friends, the most any of my friends said was, "Oh, I prefer thick thighs, but do what makes you happy!" And I feel like that's how we should be approaching things.
I have thick thighs, here to say that if you are built this way, you can reduce them but they may never be the smallest parts of your figure and THAT IS OK. Please just take this beautiful woman’s advice with care, because you don’t have to morph yourself to beautiful. All shapes are lovely when healthy!
I'm 25 and gained alot of weight during the past year and the problem part is the area above my knees. There's alot of fat over there and I've trying walking 8-10k steps daily. Hope I'll see results after 3-6 months.
Alright, ladies. I might catch some hate for this, but here it goes...Slim thighs are NOT attainable for everyone. A thigh gap is DEFINITELY not attainable for everyone. If you want to slim down your thighs, that's your choice. But genetics play a big factor. Losing weight will not change your genetics. Obviously, being overweight is unhealthy, but you can be underweight and still not have slender thighs or a thigh gap. I am one of those people. I used to be anorexic. Before I went into treatment, I was 78 lbs. and 5'3". While I didnt have chub rub or anything, my thighs still touched and I was severely underweight. From a recovering anorexic girl who wanted a perfectly flat tummy and nice, skinny thighs PLEASE be cautious with this. Loves and hugs. ❤

I think it’s time I realize I HAVE to stick to something for a long time for lasting results. I never wanted to admit it but it’s the only way to get a dream bod Edit: kind of remember writing this but not really. I started working out though!!! I have camp in 45 days so I’m trying to get toned an tan before then! I’m super excited. Consistent workouts and intermediate fasting HAS to have results after 45 days. It has to. Edit: camp was amazing, I had so much fun and people treated me differently than the year before since I looked better. I got my braces off, whitened my teeth, tanned, got flattering clothes, ate one big meal a day a week leading up to camp, avoided bread and sugar to clear my acne, grew out my hair, highlighted it, and bought better makeup. People complimented me, asked me my name, made eye contact, and a boy hung out with me a lot. It was night and day difference with how people treated me. It made me feel good because it worked and that was confirmation, but I also felt sad people treated me differently the year before. I mean- they would break eye contact when I looked at them and smiled while they were having a convo with my cousin right there. The boy that hung out with me didn’t even remember me from the year before as well, but it was mutual. I didn’t really remember him either? I can’t wait for camp this year now. I’m going to work on myself 6 months ahead of time haha
That's why I avoid squats, deadlifts and the leg press machine like the plague because they make my legs HUGE! I end up with muscles bulking out and my pants get so tight! We need to end this nonsense that women 'can't bulk up' cause it's Bullshiit!!! It really depends on your genetics and it can happen very quickly and easily with me, even if I'm not eating a lot. I'm Lebanese, we tend to get muscly quickly and I have more fast twitch muscle fibres then slow twitch muscle fibres which means I build bigger muscles quickly and easily. Even though woman don't have as much testosterone as men, woman have more human growth hormone so we can bulk up, especially on the legs much more then men. Have you also noticed that the majority of girls that do more cardio have slimmer legs and thighs than the girls that do heavy weight lifting? Also yogo and pilates is great for getting that dancers body and toning up without bulking! But be very careful with barre as it can definitely bulk up your legs, especially classes that do lots of squats and calf raises are also a no-no! The extra body weight on your calves when you're going on your tippy toes can bulk your legs up.
It REALLLY pisses me off all the time when I hear the mocking “haha, you’re afraid to pump up, but you even won’t be able to.” Or “women naturally have less muscle.”
Body positivity shouldn't go hand in hand with fat acceptance. One is a positive mindset about loving that you might not fit into a certain mold and the other is an unhealthy complacency that people use to justify being too lazy to try to get healthy.
I’m trying to get healthier. I have a hard time losing weight and I have a lot of fat built up so I want to get the fat off my problem areas and be able to run and jump and climb.
Thank you!!! Love your videos!!! I'll keep this in mind when I'm doing OrangeTheory. They tend to push us to go up in weight but I'll make sure to keep it on the low end! And not to go more than 3-4 times a week..
3:19 The first pic is literary me and I'm only 15 Even though my weight is considered "healthy" I look extremely fat Seems like my ed is going to come back soon I can't stand being so big

i'm so in love with your voice
Finally, a video that talks about what I want. Yes I can easily slim down but I become bulky af and I hate looking toned, I just want to be skinny without becoming anorexic again.
Could you do a guide on toning up or building muscle without bulking up as you put it?
Your voice is so relaxing ❤️
Workout routine PLSSSSS
You may find this vid. Funny but it made me cry bc I also experienced this kind of situation also when she said the thing about the black dress and the jeans. Thank you so muchhhhh, it inspired me to have a diet and love my self moree ily
skiiiiiiiiiin like butter
Giiirl you look great. You are so beautiful. Of course you already know it but I had to tell you. I couldn’t get my eyes off you. By the way the white color top looks great on your skin❤️
I think it’s time I realize I HAVE to stick to something for a long time for lasting results. I never wanted to admit it but it’s the only way to get a dream bod
Edit: kind of remember writing this but not really.
Would love to see the workout routine you followed! This video was so good btw
Love your realness, I feel you!
Ur so real for this. I’m in the same boat
The white tank top is looking soooo flattering on u... 😍😍😍can't take my eyes off
Loved your honesty and your video too ofc 💕
Thanks girl 💕
OMG YOURE SO PRETTY
It REALLLY pisses me off all the time when I hear the mocking “haha, you’re afraid to pump up, but you even won’t be able to.”
Or “women naturally have less muscle.”
Body positivity shouldn't go hand in hand with fat acceptance. One is a positive mindset about loving that you might not fit into a certain mold and the other is an unhealthy complacency that people use to justify being too lazy to try to get healthy.
Ok but lets talk about how beautiful your skin is 😭😭
Your skin is GLOWING🩷🌸 I need your secret please!! Also amazing video (gained a subscriber❤️)
