Great little mod! I'm impressed with the crispness of the Runcam's 1080p output! Which flight mode were you using?
You had nice bright lighting conditions, would be interesting to see how it performs in low light.
One issue with the Aquilla 16 is that it is so light and small that it does not perform well in any kind of wind. Pretty much would need perfect conditions to get ok results. Still, this seems like a fun solution for a low price entry point!
Thanks…Its not too bad considering it is not a very powerful drone. I was in Sport Mode “Fast” speed setting.
Mount a go 3s on it , a very tiny camera with 4k image quality and built in stabilization
I think the go 3 weighs around 30grams. This weighs like 9grams.

Between the Aquila16 and the Cetus X, which one has more potential for better upgrades? I’d like to get my first fpv drone and eventually incorporate an insta360 3s hard mounted.
if you want power, choose the cetus x. Harder to fly but will be more powerful and better 100x than the aquila16.
How much is the runcam affecting the flight time ?
Maybe shaves off a minute and a half. Thats not bad considering the drone can fly for 7 minutes on a new battery.
How about with insta go?
I don't have a Go 2 or 3, but those cameras easily weigh 30-39 grams. I don't think the Aquila16 would carry it.
