You know how last year you chose the best guitar gear of 2015 or what ever? It'd be super cool if you could do that for guitar bass and drums, and then have a jam. That'd be sweet as.
Finally! Someone took the time to look at both the MegaMini and the MegaMax amps and explain what's what. Thank you so very much! I've had my eye on a mega for a bit but wanted a comparison with the max. You've covered both amps. Great info. I've been looking for a new system to replace my current workhorse which is getting to be too heavy to haul around to gigs since I no longer play in larger venues/arenas.
Actually GK had the first mass-produced tiny heads with good power that I was aware of. There were a couple of tiny boutique builders before them, but they never really took off.
8:30 is by Massive Attack? What are you all talking about?! It's Stratus by Billy Cobham from the album Spectrum! :3 Oh wait... I should've watched the rest of the vid...
What's the cabinet used for this demo?, it want to buy a minimega but I am not sure about buying the pvh 1516 cabinet If can be apropiate one because it has 900 watts power
why don't any of these bass amp reviews actually show what happens when you play be amp with a drummer? If you really want to sell me, the best thing to do would just be to set up a pair of stereo condenser mics on one end of the room and a band on the other side of the room. no close micing. Let's see if the amps can cut through the mix. anything can be made to sound good when close-miced or ran direct. But I need real-world applications.... (same with guitar amps)

Sweet idea, indeed!
The bassline at 8:30 was used in Safe from Harm by Massive Attack.

The bass player is so light on those strings. Go on son, give 'em some wellie!!
Just bought one of these beauties. The LAST bass amp I will ever need! AMAZING!
Frost* fucking rule. Just wanted to say that. Nathan is a great player.
Fuckin Lee at the beginning XD
"I don't know what you're talking about", I love the crap he comes out with, "feed the pony" the man is perverse 😁😁😁
In addition to being a fan of his blues, I'll be damned if Cap'n hasn't become one of my favorite comedic characters.

Thanks for the video. One request, get some compression on your vocal mics. It's difficult to hear you as your voice trails off. Cheers
Safe from Harm - Massive Attack...isn't it awful how age affects memory? Mm. Love the series chaps. Thanks : -)

That bass line is also reminiscent of Anastasia, by Slash and Myles Kennedy (a great song).
Was it Massive Attack that revamped that base line around '96 ?
Yes it was - how did I not remember that!?
Don't know if you carry it, but could you do a review of the Ampeg SVT Micro?
I lost track of how many tangents these guys went off on.
Good video anyway.
It gives the video a personal feel, as if you're talking to old friends. I like it.

I missed Lee because he was recording this! Doh
What's the name of the song that that bassline is from. It has me drooling
Love the video but I would've liked to hear more of the low B String.
I'd have liked a bass with less fret noise.
+Rebel Tuba Yeah lol, bass action isn't hard to set up.
The bass seems to have very little treble beside the fret crunch. Not impressive.
@@rebeltuba9422 I'd like to have a singer with less noise, both on and off the stage. Is that possible?
That conversation was crazy ahahahaha
Massive Attack
"Puuuurplee" lol xD
So cool
you guys should use a chapman bass either in a video soon
Why do bassplayers in a demo vid always scoop the mids........ embrace your mids and use them, thats where you'll find your tone :)
Even if you're not a slapper, you need the mids to cut through the mix.
me e cogido una igual y e mirado el manual pero no acabo de saber como se camia el color de los potenciómetros no encurto botón como se hace
