I've had a draught for around two years and finally got my finger out and did this. Took two minutes on two doors and I am now wondering how much money on heating I've wasted. Oh, well, I know now! Thank you :)
Thank you so much for uploading this video. One of my doors wouldn't shut today, one of the rollers wouldn't move past the latch. Seeing the bit of the video about adjusting the cam of the roller helped me fix it - adjusted it by 1/4 turn and all was good again 🙂
Thank you so much for directing me to the problem area on our French doors. My newly acquired laser thermometer showed the UPVC frame was chilling down to below 5° whereas elsewhere the temperature was nearer 15°. The bottom latch was the worst with a stick just over 2mm! I adjusted all three and hey presto - the visible gap was closed down. Thank you so much. It was -6° outside this morning and our dining room now feels noticeably warmer after the fix. Excellent!
Thank you, Everest for providing this video. Perfectly presented, in easy-to-follow language - and worked a treat on my back door in under a minute! I only wish I’d found it before the two wild storms we had this last week.
Great help! Have tightened up my exterior doors and my windows using this method. Wishing I'd known this a few months ago during winter. Front door hallway is a lot more comfortable since. Thank you.
Hi. Great video. Thanks you. You said that once these screws are out they're hard to get in. How hard? For some reason, both screws on my door have come off. Thanks.
Thanks. My cam adjustments were on the frame of the door (the receiving end), not on the door itself but I still used the same technique and it fixed my problem.
This video is really helpful and very easy to do few screw adjustment to fix door draught. I can already feel the difference! I should have seen this video much earlier and could have save a lot of money on my heating bill - Many Thanks :-)
Like several of the people posting below, I'm wondering what to do if the door seems to fit, but cold air gets in through the hinges. (I do mean the actual hinges themselves, not the whole hinge edge of the door).
I got pvc windows fitted recently however I can hear car/lorries etc passing by I know the windows are sealed right around as I done this myself but I am sure the openings need tighten up to stop the noise is it easliy done can you show me please seems to be 2 spuds under each window that opens thank you
The top corner of my door is still drafty even after the adjustment, it’s minutely better but during this cost of living crisis we literally can’t afford to put on the heating and with draughts we’ll be burning even more money if we do, and we can’t afford a new door, and legally can’t change it because our building has to decide whether it updates the windows or not, it’s just dumb

Great job! Glad it helped :D
Excellent demonstration. Thank you very much.
My adjusters are in the door frame, can you explain the way to adjust that type of fitting please 👍

Thank you so very much for putting this information up. Our door has been allowing a gale in on windy days - but not anymore. You’re ace 👍
You absolute star - you've saved me buying a new door rubber seal - well done thank you :-)
Thank you, just stopped a big draft from my front door in about 60 seconds!!😊
Thank you so much sorted my draughty door in 3 minutes. Brilliant
Great help. Our back door doesn't close at the bottom so leaks whenever it rains. I shall have to make the adjustment you showed.
Very helpful from a fellow Scot 😁 Im going to try this.
Everything covered in little over 2mins….. there’s videos on here that don’t give half the info that go on for 7-8mins….. thanks a million
Thanks! Quick and straightforward video :)

Great vid! I never knew those locking bolts were cams!
Thanks for your expertise was a great help
Thanks - What about draughts getting past the seal on the *hinge side*?

Thank you for this video! It solved my problem!!
Can a pvc door be adjusted to lift it up.
My camera doesn't have a hole to fit an Alan key, is there another way I can move it?
Thank you for this video!
Thanks for the tips, I'll try that later.
Thank you for this help 👍
What about hinge side gaps?
Is this the same principle for windows? I’ve got one in the kitchen that I can see daylight through lol…
How do i adjust my door? The side with the hinges is not closing all the way and can feel draught next to the wall please?
I still have a gap at the top of the door when adjusting the cam in. Is there any other way of bringing the top corner in?
I had Everest Glazing fitted and had lots of issues....................not what I expected.
Good video. Well explained.
Glad it was helpful!

What do you do if its not the top but the bottom of the door that needs to stop rattling or coming away ?
I don't have cams in my door and getting draught coming through
Strangely my door has cams but no strike plates in the frame for them.
Great thanks
Perfect...

I still get a draught near the handle because there is no adjuster there to pull it in.
Possibly the draught excluder needs replacing. I did mine, an easy cheap job.
Have a look at the frame - the adjustable parts are sometimes there, rather than in the door.
Thank you for this!!
