I am a novice to gardening and about to take early retirement. It's great channels like this that are giving me the confidence to have a go. So a big thank you from me.
Of all of the videos that I've viewed, for how to start Geraniums from seed, this is by far the most informative. I love that you showed them to complete flowering! Well done sir!
🌸 I am really enjoying this video. A detailed video that is easy to follow step by step. I'm a beginner to gardening and this is my 1st time growing geraniums from seeds. I'm on step 4 🌱at the moment and so far everything looking good 👍Thank you so much for putting this video together really helps people like me that want to learn new things.🙂🌸
Thank you, excellent tutorial. I’ve never grown geraniums from seed before and your video is wonderfully educational. I bought Orange Maverick seeds and can’t wait to see them bloom.
Last year I was able to remove a few seeds from my pelargonium. After seeing your video, I sawn them and 2 plants have sprouted. (I hope, my translation is ok!?!) Best regards and thank you! Rosalinde 👩🌾 🌸 Stay healthy!
Love geraniums and great tutorial. Thank you for taking us from seeding to flowering ... only thing missing was showing us when to deadhead (I never know at what point I should do this and how much I should take).
---------- Wonderful voice soothing and calming. I have grown geraniums from seed. Very satisfying experience; before you know it, you'll be able to get cuttings from your plants. 💕 Geraniums 💕
Excellent video, thank you! Is there any way to know what will be the color of the geranium by looking at the leaves? I am trying to make a color coordinated flower bed, most of mine germinated but I used a mixed seed packet. Thanks again for the useful video!
Thanks for sharing! I'm curious- have you ever grown a Crossandra plant? The blooms are somewhat unique. It's new to me, I only came across it this weekend, but I don't see many English-speaking videos here on youtube on the Crossandras.
question - i have one that sprout (very early on...in a matter of days..) but the others have not yet germinated. Should I leave the lid still on at this point?
Hello can I ask you a garden question please, I have really healthy sage plant that looks lovely , I usually cut it back now October, then in the spring it grows fresh again, the problem is it never flowers anytime , have you any idea why please , thanks
@@LearnHow2 hi thanks for coming back , no this one has never flowered it’s about 5 years old not that I remember , it could have flowered right at the start but not for the last 4 years
@@susanfryer1616 The reasons I can think of are: 1)Some sage varieties rarely flower. 2) Over rich soil encourages leafy growth at the expense of flowering 3) Does it get enough sunlight? Sorry to be so vague. Best wishes.
Hi Michael. Not all the seeds germinated - that is why you should always plant more than you need. All those that germinated grew into healthy plants. Keep safe.
@@LearnHow2 thank you for the answer, i am just asking because where i live those seeds are very expensive, like one seed for about 1 dollar, and i am planning to grow and sell them, so that's why i wanna know if they are that kind of seeds that almost all of them do germinate, for example, Basil seeds, i planted about 400 seeds, and only 60 of them did germinated ! Anyway, thanks

@@LearnHow2 Teach us , please , how we can identify seeds of my geranimus vase and how we can germinate it. Thanks !
Another great video.
I also kept outside during snow and killed the beautiful plants.
No drainage holes? With a lid over the container, how did you avoid any mold growth?
Great video! I did find myself squirming a little with the leaves getting wet during watering. Won't that promote fungus?
Not if you keep plenty of air/ventilation around them. I find fungus likes cool damp conditions.
So beautiful flower
Yes. My Grandfather grew them and I have always loved them. Keep safe.

Hi Darlene. I didnt but if your soil is low in nutrients then add it. Keep safe.
What is the name of the geranium at 4:56? With the star-shaped leaves? Thanks!

I bought mine from a Garden Store here in the UK.

Cross pollination can give different flowers to the mother plant. Plant the seeds and see what you get. Keep safe.
