Hope you can get that fix soon. Electricity should be very careful . Go to the main panel shot off the room that are flooding, leave only the necessary one get your 🔦 , and have someone come to give a hand and neighbor or something. If you have a second floor room live ON in the panel only that , the rest turn all off. Until you get a emergency plumber . 🙏‼️ Don't walk around with water and electricity together 🛑❗
OMG, Cat , do you have an upstairs bathroom? Or attic? Could be even coming from the roof or gutters. That is way too much water filling up in your heater vents and coming from ceilings. I have had freak water caused by a crack in my plexiglas tub. We thought it was the roof. Please give us an update when u find out. Even the insurance company couldn't find my water problem. My neighbor did and epoxied the tub. This is too weird. I 🙏 whatever it is Im 🙏 it's a covered loss by insurances. This is certainly the last thing you needed to be bothered with. Please check upstairs all around outside, roof, gutters downspouts, etc. Water goes to the lowest level. Have you had lots of rain?
I replayed your video. I'm now thinking it's the bathroom drain pipe. It wasn't repaired correctly, and it sounds like it's spreading water everywhere. Has to be a covered loss and report to your insurance company they fix the damage and subragate the claim. Don't argue with those plumbers sounds like they did bad work. Negligence. Appliances wouldn't cause that much water to travel. The insurance company can relocate you and you don't want to deal with mold that will eventually happen. Please hurry this is way too much water damage and damage to mess around with different companies. . 🤗 and ❤️ to you. So 😔 this is happening to you.

Hi Cat, I suggest you may want to buy some regular throw away cameras and take lots of pictures for each phase of repair. Get at least 6 or 7 estimates for repair. You will learn a lot from each contractor. Make sure deadlines are put in the contracts with a substantial late fee if they do not stick to the time line for each contractor. Get a binder with plastic sheets and put the developed pictures in it and label them as you go incase this ends up in court which it may if it is the fault of the plumbers. The plumbers should have insurance to cover this if it was their fault. Have a different plumber come look at it as the original plumber may try to hide his mistake. Hang in there….I feel for you after going through this with my friend who started a new med and was sort of sleep walking and washed her hands after she went potty and she left the upstairs faucet on starting around 3 or 4 in the morning so the sink overflowed for hours and everything had to be stripped to the studs including her kitchen cabinets etc. She had to live in a hotel for a year paid for by the insurance co. Make sure you keep the hotel receipts in your binder, food, etc and any other receipts you get…put it all in one binder as evidence. We are all praying for you and I am so sorry you have to go through this. ❤️❤️❤️

We have Serv-Pro helping. They have 3 dehumidifiers running. Monday the sheet rock gets ripped out! Everyone is concerned about mold, so it's happening fast. The living room is almost empty. Ugh

Hi Cat, this is a monumental catastrophe. I just went through this with a friend. Did you turn the water off yet? Unfortunately you will have to remove all walls and flooring , ceilings and kitchen if it was affected. My friend had to move out for 1 year and she is still working on it. The good thing is she now has a new house. The restoration company will move everything to a pod on the driveway. They work fast. No water can be left in the walls. The insurance will pay for most but make sure you send in addendums to the insurance as you find new damage. There has to be a silver lining to this…..Praying for you to get help asap. Can you turn the water off at the street? Make sure you get good contractor recommendations from your neighbors. Finding good contractors was the worst part for my friend. Also do not give them a large sum of money up front. Good luck to you❤️

We had something similar happen. We had Service Master come out. Water caused a hole in the downstairs ceiling. Service Master came out with fans and dehumidifiers. They ran for days. They took pictures for the insurance company and it was all covered. Pictures are necessary. Looks like you should maybe go to a hotel. I'm so sorry.

Yes, the plumber used some kind of power tool to install a new drain/stopper and the threading misaligned. He didn't know. I really feel bad for the young man. His boss's insurance will cover everything. Thank God.
