After San Andreas, I decided to try and transform in HD another classic GTA game which also happens to be the first one that I ever played, more than a decade ago.

@@Quinceyyy No, I genuinely didn't want to play the actual game when I tried it out. It's repulsive. High tech with no sense of art. That's why I rarely ever put graphics mods onto games because almost all of them mane the same mistake. I only ever use very subtle things that don't ruin the experience.

@@hypnotize107 the xbox versions are the only legit remasters they've done and the original pc versions also count. This is why I hate when companies touch old games. They know they got all the money mileage out when it was new and simply spend the least amount of money on it to milk wallets
Looks somewhat better than Definitive Edition, even if it's technically inferior, it kept the classic look. Except for some models and textures of course. But still modders can do it better.
I've worked on my own texture modpack, which involved comparing textures from different remasters, including the DE, side-by-side one by one, and honestly, maybe 5% of the DE's textures were actually better than the fanmade upscales. The other 95% had better quality upscales from the fanmade stuff, and didn't even hold a candle to the stuff that was faithfully remade from scratch. The DE is a joke.
Now this is what I called the true “Definitive Edition”

I'm here after GTA remastered trilogy was announced. They say it'll look like a heavily modded version of the games so I expect vice city to look somewhat like this.

WOW great set of mods, it really brings out the vibrant colors and life of VC from the actual city of Miami. Kinda like a definitive version of VC so dope! should do a gameplay segment to see differences!

I've only given it a two min test run atm, cuz im trying to get other stuff going, obv there's more for this QOL overhaul i'd want to add, but so far you're the only person or page i've found that has written to change lines in the Limit Adj ini, which is a fix by the way cuz i was having mad crashes and nearly had to write that mod off, good work!

Nice video. To me it looks way much better with these mods than the remaster but I bet if rockstar would have made something similar or exactly this, people would still be complaining about it, even more for its price. Just enjoy the games and feel the nostalgia it makes us feel again people.

I was able to get most of the mods I wanted to work just fine, but there's a couple I'm having issues with.
During cutscenes, Tommy's clothes are updated with the 80s HD suits pack, but when I'm back in-game, they revert to normal. Also, as far as I can tell, the interiors haven't been upscaled by the 80s atmosphere pack. Does anybody have any possible solutions?
I still play vice city on my mobile, I also have it on my ps4 and have played it since a young lad on the ps2! This is awesome!
its so refreshing seeing a person who actually cares about the atmosphere of the game and doesnt just add a million graphic mods
