I've made a complete run with these mods. Took me almost 30 hours to complete the story and I can confirm that the game runs stable using these mods. The game crashed twice in these 30 hours which is absolutely okay for me.
I always wanted graphics mods that just made the game look like a better looking 6th gen game like say Resident Evil 4, where it's not realistic rtx levels of polish, but still look pretty good with decent poly count, textures and lighting tricks to make things look good even if the lighting doesn't behave 100% realistic to make it age more gracefully, mainly for buildings snd characters, which look a little odd and empty, the insanity character models in this video look pretty close to being just that I hope that mod gets finished because they're just the kind of detailed I was always looking for, don't get me wrong I'm impressed by the ENB stuff that actually manages to add shit like Ray Tracing without fucking everything up, but it's still a ps2 game deep down, so the classic animations and low poly buildings clash hard with the refined texture and lighting work.
The definitive GTAs experience should've been like this out of the box. It always amazes me how much can these modders do, they saved the game. Also thank you for compiling the mods!

Holy cow this is absolutely amazing!!!!!.i have to say that this modded original game looks a hundred times better than the so-called "definitive" edition.oh and 1 more thing Gesha, can you also make a gameplay video with these mods if you had any chance?
Your editing is so good, really makes the video fun to watch I don't even play San Andreas much anymore but still watch to see how much better the game can become
these mods are incredibly refined, it's easy to see the passion of the developers for their projects. I've played with the silent patch and other fixes, but these are on a whole new level!
“Good things come to those who wait” And it is amazing. It's also nice that you chose lore-friendly mods as well, and maintained the “feel” of the game by using more QOL improvements, rather than major graphical enhancements (Not saying it's bad, I just prefer the classic feel of San Andreas.) If only the DE could add some of these things/improve performance.
I’ve just discovered this video and I gotta say, can’t wait to install all of them mods! Can’t believe that after almost 19 years since the release of this masterpiece it is still loved by the community and still a lot of people are playing it! Best game ever, not gonna change my mind ever!

Se que probablemente no entiendas lo que dice este comentario. Pero el trabajo que has hecho es asombroso. Mereces mucho más reconocimiento por la dedicación y tiempo que inviertes en traernos este trabajo increíble.
I watched this video first because I didn't like the Definitive Edition and the Remasters, and more of just the "See, the modders can do a lot better!" Then recently, I found back the GTA Trilogy disks and naturally, the San Andreas disk, v 1.00 and everything. I'm currently using your guide and your video to get at least half the mods listed. Thanks again for the informative and also entertaining work.
Great video! I recently got into the modding sense while it’s fun to mod but sometimes it can be frustrating when things doesn’t work out for you! It would be nice if you can show us a tutorial where each individual folders go! I don’t know if I’m asking for too much! Nonetheless I enjoyed your content keep up the good work! ❤️
I love this but there are some things I would personally do to make it even better like better handling , ragdoll physics , crash physics , maybe even putting new music in radio stations
Man, I'd looove to play this modded version. I just wish it was available in one easy to install file. I have no idea how to install these huge lists of mod files or even what version of the game to start with? I have San Andreas on Steam.
One mod I would include in the list, it's the air traffic mod. It adds a bunch of planes and helicopters both at the airport and in the air as well. Not sure if it crashes though. It's been many years since I tested it. Other than that, this is beautiful. I'll definitely be looking at all these mods. The real *definitive* experience right here
Thank you! Unfortunately, if I'm not mistaken, almost all of the mods that add air traffic suffer from crashing issues. This is also the reason why I excluded the Air Traffic mod despite recommending it in my previous San Andreas video.
Bro I have the game running with all the mods installed, if you're interested. Final installation is like 16.7 Gb. I don't know where I can upload it though.

Here are some of my recommended mods here - remaster sounds ruclips.net/video/ae8QcPEEhLo/видео.html This mod basically remastered the weapon sounds, I recommend it as in my opinion, it sounds pretty nice while being more faithful to the classic sounds - next gen effects ruclips.net/video/3C2OFvMuWFQ/видео.html This isn't a simple effects mod, it is more than that! This mod adds so much effects like water explosion (in vanilla there's no giant water splash at explosion, instead it has the same explosion under water) Better rain effects, better fog, shorelines effect, wave effect, thunder and better sandstorm effects much more. All of that while being light for low end PC. It is compatible with enhance classic graphics but delete the particle.txd since it already includes it. The bad thing about this mod is that it crashes when saving a save and then loading that same save game again - enhfuncs ruclips.net/video/g7SKCzLBpsM/видео.html This is basically the next gen weapons, but adapted to this mod This mod features very nice gun details such as weapon sliding moving and such, I recommend this mod the most as it has pretty nice features.
Can someone just make a modpack based on this video and release it for us? my god does it pain me to install it 1 by 1 with crashes and issues everywhere.
Yeah, I think some mods need to be installed before others, some crashes I had were fixed by just removing the mod, and putting it back in my modloader folder, but maybe I'm wrong but that's my theory for some of the crashes
You're the best! I've never actually completed San Andreas before, so a collection of faithful modifications to the game is just what I was looking for.
Bro, I never owned my own copy of GTA:SA, I always played it at a friends PS2 back in the days. Now I watched your whole video and got my hands on a copy of the original game because of that! Thanks for making this collection of lore friendly and graphics friendly mods! Take care!
The truck and trailer one is what does it for me, also the mechanics related ones like running with guns Had no idea it was an original feature im getting that one asap Epic video 👍

oh man i wish someone would make a modpack out of this, installing every single one of the mods one by one is gonna be a pain..
good shit as always btw!
I had the exact same mods installed before I accidentally deleted the folder :/ It's easy to install tho won't take much time
@@swapnilgohil7280 yeah
That would be like 12 GB
Eu montei este pack de mods, posso disponibilizar o link para download.
@@brayansantana955 Eu realmente apreciaria se você fizesse isso, por favor :D
That's exactly what I was trying to build ten years ago, when I was playing this game daily.
Good to see that it's posible in 2022. Might even hop back in and build my dream SA.
This is one of the best vanilla+ modpacks i've ever seen man am definitely gonna try it, the modders really did an amazing job
You literally made the remaster we all expected of what was supposed to be the 'Definitive Edition'.
Holy cow this is absolutely amazing!!!!!.i have to say that this modded original game looks a hundred times better than the so-called "definitive" edition.oh and 1 more thing Gesha, can you also make a gameplay video with these mods if you had any chance?
This is by far the most tasteful and complete modlist for GTA SA I've ever seen on RUclips. Well done!
Your editing is so good, really makes the video fun to watch
I don't even play San Andreas much anymore but still watch to see how much better the game can become
these mods are incredibly refined, it's easy to see the passion of the developers for their projects.
This video is literally “The GTA San Andreas improvement bible”
Unfortunately it was made right before mods like Wind Project and Ladders Mod.
I love that it retains the original aesthetic, and doesn't have those ridiculous constantly wet roads lol
I’ve just discovered this video and I gotta say, can’t wait to install all of them mods! Can’t believe that after almost 19 years since the release of this masterpiece it is still loved by the community and still a lot of people are playing it!
Best game ever, not gonna change my mind ever!
wow great content. makes me want to get back into gta classic after 7 years
would love to see a GTA III and vice city one (while staying true to the original GTA VC). e.g. no vice cry etc which ruins the original feeling
i dont know why but these mods make the game feel like i remember it feeling when i was a kid
thank you for this
God damnit i loong for your entertainment, literally waiting for every damn video. You got this bro you're amazing.
Thank you for the kind words!
Damn that’s video is great. It’s like a trailer to some remaster and game’s look fresh! I even got a wish to play that again in 5 years even though I still watch San Andreas videos and only this bring me back a will to play again, thanks, mate!
GTA community modders are just insane and highly underrated!! Thanks to you and handful of other youtubers who pick *the best* mods that truly enhance our experience of gaming on these beautiful old GTA titles. I AM IN LOVE with these kinds of videos, specially for GTA V, SA and Vice City :)
I remember pirating this game on my homeschool computer. Learned so much about computers and software just from the modding scene alone. This game is the best game of all time, more than Ocarina of Time. I hope you get more support to continue doing what you do. I’m going to build a computer just to okay this game again with all these mods.
Same story here bro!! San Andreas modding was a huge introduction to computers when i was young. Taught me that you can do everything in a computer with patience and tutorials, a lot of tutorials 🤣🤣
Damn man same! I learned English, how to efficiently use computers, and so much more just cuz of modding in this game
Literally it happened the same to me
Bruh how many of us
What a legend! Thanks a lot for such a great video! I've been looking for some kind of lore-friendly and not over the top mod list for a couple of weeks now, and this is it.
I managed to install the mods you've provided. I'm eternally grateful that you've made this video. I also named the folder as "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - True Definitive Edition"
This is so lovely. GTA SA is my favorite game of all time so I'd like to give this a shot instead of the Definitive Edition. Big thank to all of you modders. ❤
This is the best mods possible to get a proper definitive edition of GTA San Andreas. Thank you!
The editing is unreal. BIG UPS
Just so you know, any of you newcomers. All mods he linked derived from Mixmods, a Brazilian modding website for games like GTA. That site has been flagged down by Google for supposedly harboring malware (Extremely bullshit. Unless the downloads have trojans.) Thats probably the main reason why he removed the links.
"How remaster gta san without puting oceans on the streets"
This is the type of love that should have been put into the definitive version, well done to the modders who carefully put this together
This is *EXACTLY* what I wanted from a GTA San Andreas remaster.
Just wanted to say your Remaster videos are made with so much effort that it just amazes me. Mods always are choosen nicely and every single one works with the vibe/atmosphere of other mods and it feels like it was made by Rockstar itself. Im using most of mods showcased in your videos and everything works perfectly
This video for GTA V would be amazing. I'd love to see a lore friendly mod list.
Yes. Please !
GTA IV too! I hate the fanbase but I'm still faithful to the game. I bet it's going to be up to par with RDR2 if it does have game enhancing and lore friendly mods.
And so on GTA San Andreas will became more immersive for me just like i first play it :)
Thank you so much for showcasing all of this
Keep up your works!!
Dude, you've improved a lot! Congratulations for this wonderful video
Wow. This video most have taken ages. Thank you. I think I'll try this if I can install them without crashing
if anyone made a compilation of this mods and brings them together for one easy download, we will be eternally grateful even though its been a year now
Not sure if you are still looking but i got it working
I'm impressed, its more style-friendly than I expected, except for the weapon models. Great video.
Yeah, that one I found unfitting (as well as increased draw distance, it’d kill the illusion of the world’s size)
@@benferris149 That reminds me that I did find one weapon mod that is super style-friendly long ago
@@benferris149 The more faithtul mod was called "Improved default armoury weapons"
*4:26* i love this one 🔥
Great video, this is the ultimate GTA SA experience that's worth playing. The official remaster added up absolutely nothing to polish the game's old age.
Finally, a mod video where the game doesn't have overblown, over-contrasted and oversaturated ENBs
Se que probablemente no entiendas lo que dice este comentario. Pero el trabajo que has hecho es asombroso. Mereces mucho más reconocimiento por la dedicación y tiempo que inviertes en traernos este trabajo increíble.
Gracias!
I watched this video first because I didn't like the Definitive Edition and the Remasters, and more of just the "See, the modders can do a lot better!"
Then recently, I found back the GTA Trilogy disks and naturally, the San Andreas disk, v 1.00 and everything.
Yea tbh i would also love to see this
That was an incredible video! Just what I needed, when I was in a mood for San Andreas again after so many years. Thank you so much for this work :D
Everything in this video is just perfect, the real Definitive Edition.
13:56 best gta graphics mod ever
WOW, i want to install almost all of these. They're not exagerated add-ons, but functional reparations and updates. Love it.
Infinitely better than what we actually got in the definitive disappointment
Someone please make it into a bundle and upload it. A LOT OF PEOPLE needs this... Also, great video man!
Bro I have the game running with all the mods installed, if you're interested. Final installation is like 16.7 Gb. I don't know where I can upload it though.
@@IDyn4m1CI Can you compress it and upload the parts? Please?
@@oskar2727 Do you have any suggestion to where I could upload the parts?
@@oskar2727 Hey bro I uploaded on my drive. I though it wouldn't have enough space but after compressing it that wasn't a problem. Idk if youtube will allow me to post it here though, but I'll try

Here are some of my recommended mods here
- remaster sounds
ruclips.net/video/ae8QcPEEhLo/видео.html
This mod basically remastered the weapon sounds, I recommend it as in my opinion, it sounds pretty nice while being more faithful to the classic sounds
- next gen effects
ruclips.net/video/3C2OFvMuWFQ/видео.html
This isn't a simple effects mod, it is more than that! This mod adds so much effects like water explosion (in vanilla there's no giant water splash at explosion, instead it has the same explosion under water)
Better rain effects, better fog, shorelines effect, wave effect, thunder and better sandstorm effects much more. All of that while being light for low end PC.
It is compatible with enhance classic graphics but delete the particle.txd since it already includes it. The bad thing about this mod is that it crashes when saving a save and then loading that same save game again
- enhfuncs
ruclips.net/video/g7SKCzLBpsM/видео.html
This is basically the next gen weapons, but adapted to this mod
This mod features very nice gun details such as weapon sliding moving and such, I recommend this mod the most as it has pretty nice features.
Best video I ever seen presenting mods, 110% quality in the video edition, and no need to show unrealistic wet roads or oversaturated graphics mods
Definitive edition really is a fucking cashgrab... Look at how beautiful the community did this ❤️
Bro, I never owned my own copy of GTA:SA, I always played it at a friends PS2 back in the days.
I got super hyped up, when R* announced their trilogy remaster, but I didn't get it because of the controversy around it. Now I watched your whole video and got my hands on a copy of the original game because of that! Thanks for making this collection of lore friendly and graphics friendly mods! Take care!
This is better than definitive edition
The truck and trailer one is what does it for me, also the mechanics related ones like running with guns
Had no idea it was an original feature im getting that one asap
Epic video 👍
Now someone needs to upload complete modpack instead of everyone having to spend 2 hours installing all these different mods...
To in the end it not working at all even if you follow every single notepad and stuff xD
Reasons why this can't happen:
configuration (things like performance)
updates (for mods)
updates (for instructions)
too heavy
I might help
@@Haxogone How does it run on laptops? anyone tried it on older hardware?
@@ViroRads It obviously depends on the laptop.
I remember modding this game in 2008. Things have changed a lot since then.
Thank you, GTA SA is ma life
Glad to be of help. And thank you too!
If i’m gonna do a nostalgic playthrough with the game, i’ll be sure to install all these mods. Project Rosa is a serious eye candy!
i have no idea how to install this :(
really cool compilation man! The game overall got a complete makeover without losing its original essence~ Really cool!
Could you also remaster GTA 3 with mods like you did with Vice City and San Andreas?
Edit: Oops. I found it on your channel :D
this beats the enb bs and te definitive edition all day...this is like a proper proper remaster of a game, even fixing issues from the original game
I followed your guide very carefully , redownloaded everything x2, and redid the process x2. Game wont even load past the loading screen before it crashes. Can you pack your gta sa folder and upload it somewhere?
He is too Lazy 🦥 Don't bother
Wow all these mods make game even more immersive and alive, that's amazing!
you should have shown gameplay with all the mods installed
This is like the 6th time I'm watching this video, I bookmarked it. Man you really got a talent for putting this stuff together, good work.
"Ah shit, here we go again." Time to reinstall San Andreas.
Best of its kind.
Thank you!
Yoo, bro, i will use this pack for sure, its so perfect, damn O_O i loved :D
bro can you share whole folder with game and mods please?
