I started to hate rockstar after they banned Gta underground and gave us the defective edition. Their arrogance for thinking that their refart is something remotely comparable to what modders produce
This is exactly everything I’ve ever wanted to add to GTA 3, the new side objectives, planes, helicopters, interiors without the awkward camera angle. There is just too much to say about how good this video and remaster is. This is faithful and easily better than the official 10 year anniversary remake of this game. Nice job!

The definitive edition looks better. My only problem is the glitches that weren't in the original games, lack of original soundtracks, and the new character models. But yes it is a lazy port and they should have added new interiors.

Finally a GTA III tribute suite (of mods) that appreciates the game for what it is and just makes it better. I dislike when others try to make it GTA V with a skin or drown out the game’s quality with out of place features. This is a truly iconic set-up and as someone who grew up with III I am over-joyed to see this video.
@@SCSA3.16 Claude looks more jacked up than he does in the actual game, the textures are still super low poly and blocky, cars look no different, lighting is still bad (except for the sun), and the character models look no different

GTA 3 1.0 who?? I absolutely NEED this mod and I’ll never be able to look at the original the same. My biggest pet peeve about the Defective Edition was the laziness about the dark gloomy weather that defines this game in its entirety but it’s all here. Seriously LOVE this.😄

It's amazing! It's all so good, but the things that especially stands out for me, are the higher-poly cars, and better movement animation! Most other videos I see are all about graphics, but they leave the characters and car models untouched. Now the characters have a more natural movement (and fingers too!)
so who's here after seeing what a failure "definition edition" is? i never played gta3 because i was late to it and the control scheme seemed archaic by the time i got my hands on it, so i never played it. i was looking forward to finally playing gta 3 but my hopes got dashed. i hope i can get these mods to work
The thing that sets gta games apart is the mod support. You can even play such an old gta game with a totally different experience.😃 I'll surely try this one. 😃
Rockstar needs to take notes. This is the remaster they should have released. Instead of attacking the mod community they should work with them in producing a high quality product.
Now this is how you properly remaster a game, adding subtle graphical improvements that don't chage the feel pf the game. You can tell you put a lot of thought into what mods you should install and which not to

The GTA modding community is amazing, nice job on the showcase! For those looking for a way to play GTA 3 in HD with a few extra additions that help it to keep up with the later titles's improvements while staying true to the original atmosphere, you really need to try this. BTW, those mods can run fine even on integrated graphic cards, you will need processing power, and a medium to fast HDD/SDD to avoid lag spikes, but I think a i3 with 4GB Ram minimum should do fine with 30-50FPS. Turning off reflections on cars should help as well.
I can't believe how good it looks! I just wish the updated Taxi/Police cars kept the more squished looking headlights, kinda like an early '90s Sentra. But that's an insignificant not to pick.
Wow! This is how a proper graphics overhaul should look! I'm so sick of seeing those mods that just cover the entire city in puddles and just look like a visual mishmash. I really with the new remastered trilogy looked like this, but we already know that won't be the case.

Now THIS is the Definitive Edition, not that pathetic excuse for a remaster. And for anyone who wants to make it easier for themselves, download "Definitive Edition Project" mod first. It has the Xbox HD mod in it already and uses a modloader. Most of the mods in his pastebin can be downloaded and simply thrown into the modloader and they'll work. Keep in mind that ASI scripts should go into the scripts folder while CS scripts go into the Cleo folder. For the HD Tripack, just put that into the modloader (minus the "Vehicles Added" folder).
@@jordananderson8299 Depends what you did. I tried not to install all the mods. I only installed ones that would improve textures, car and gun models, and characters. Also, SkyGFX and LODLights can cause a slow down at times in the game but you shouldn't have FPS issues all the time. Remember that you need Open Limit Adjuster for all the other mods to work properly. Otherwise, that's why it might run slow.
I'm super happy to see how much this game has improved, with all the mods they look fantastic and love how it looks etc. Just I really wish the "when cars flip they no longer explode" was not added or at least an option. It's just a classic thing that most of the GTA games did and yes it's annoying and all, but it's what makes the games classic, nostalgic etc.
@Ghost Yasha I also remastered GTA 3 using his mods and it's been almost 2 years but the game never crashed, not when I was installing the mods or when I play the game.. if you follow the instructions which he left in the description then you will not face any problems

I’d also like to suggest the “Gang Wars” mod. Gives the player new objectives and more things to do in Liberty City by participating in the gang wars.
Rockstar should hire this guy, i wanted interior designs and new places to explore inside buildings.

For once in my life I'm actually impressed with a GTA III remake mod.
It's amazing! It's all so good, but the things that especially stands out for me, are the higher-poly cars, and better movement animation! The Tri Pack is probably the best HD car mod for any GTA game, except fo the tank model, that thing look a bit weird.

Most of the mods work fine. The only thing is that the framerate if capped at 60, becomes choppy. It fluctuates between 40 to 60 in some areas

Thank you! I think one or two of the required mods have AA functionality so you don't need to enable anything externally. At least I haven't.
