GTA IV was ahead of its era, the physics and graphics are amazing this made vice city more enjoyable to watch and play 🤩🤩🤩
Exactly... I hate that Rockstar didnt even try when this is all we needed, maybe pushed a tiny bit on some assets like ped models and weapons to match GTA IV detail level, and that's it. GTA IV gameplay is just so much better than GTA 5 and older GTA games and it would elevate everything. Classic versions would also have more of distinction and separation from such soft remake and can coexist on the store offering totally different experience, but no... :/

Cars don't handle like that irl. The suspension of the cars in GTA IV handle worse than a Ford Model T. 🤣

GTA IV's RAGE engine would be perfect for a GTA Vice City remake
It would be perfect for whole trilogy tbh. GTA IV gameplay would just make it so much better and endlessly etertaining same way GTA IV is. It would be lovely to enjoy those those physics, handling and gunplay in different settings and stories than just IV's Liberty city...
@@Kacpa2 I think the RAGE engine from GTA IV would fit more with GTA III & GTA VC, for San Andreas the RAGE version from GTA V would be very good.

@@AjisaiVY Handling can be tweaked, check out killtomate realistic driving mod for GTAiV. It reduces excessive bodyroll and allows for some good drifting.

This is satisfying and clean at the same time. The best-made mod I've ever seen!
This has to be the best game port I've ever seen in my life. It's almost 100% accurate, well beyond what most other modders will do. Even the minor details, sound effects, voice acting, and ragdoll physics for Tommy Vercetti were perfect. I'm absolutely blown away.

Gta iv physics and sounds (weapens, ped, etc.)gives a little bit gta iv atmosphere, but not every Sound fit to the VC in the 80s (engine noise, sirens, etc.) but it looks stunning

I remember seeing a trailer for this mod back then (2012-13) thinking it was actually a real standalone game. Dumb 12 yr old me...

we need a video that runs through all these GTA to GTA TC mods, theres heaps and its hard to know whats what at this point, theres even talk of multiple Liberty City Episodes conversions, one over Vice City and i don't even know what the claim is for the other one, same with ReVc, one is over San An and people say there is a better one.

These modders should've been hired to create a proper definitive edition. This mod looks incredible, even if it's just a GTA IV mod.

A couple of things to keep in consideration. We will probably never know the real reason why the studio responsible of the Definitive Edition decided to use UE4 instead of brand Rockstar Games RAGE. But the real difference of this mod with DE is that the mod is actually a full rework of the game but over GTA IV meanwhile the DE is a port into a new engine (which that's the main reason of the bugs presented in it).

Couldn’t absolutely nail the vibe of OG VC but they did an awesome job. This version is far far superior to the Definitive Edition

Agreed, without the lighting and fog, the games looks like a cartoon and not at all how I remember vice City looking and feeling. If they could work on the atmosphere a little more, this would be perfect.
