Some of my best nights out were when I just went down the pub/bar by myself, the local backpackers bar was the best. Met tons of people, free drinks, woke up the next morning not remembering how I got home. brilliant.
Different story for an attractive young woman being hit on, leered at and probably getting her drink spiked.
It's quite hard to find a Rohypnol distributor which is why I buy it in bulk.

Loved this series, when it first came out on Sky 1 back in 2000. The pub which was shown on the exterior shots was at the junction of Barlby Road and Ladbroke Grove in Notting Hill W10. Now demolished and brown office type block in it's place. Used to work down the road from the pub and passed it alot.

I reckon if this came out around 1994-96 at the height of Britpop it would’ve been the biggest show on British telly

Just found out about this show from Al being on Rob Brydon's new interview podcast thing. Very funny.

Around about 2008/2009 I started shaving my head, and my mate Dave began calling me 'Bullet Head', and when I asked him where he got that from, he told me about this sitcom, so I rented the DVDs and he watched it. For a British sitcom, they were prolific, way more episodes per series than most BBC things.
(I stopped shaving my head not long after, although it is very satisfying rubbing your hand over your stubbly scalp).

Series was co-written by Al with the king of podcasts, Richard Herring.
