My personal top-3 chart of the hardest English speech to comprehend (from what I've heard so far): 1) Anyone in Limmy's Show 2) My school's English lessons cassettes 3) Excited Al Murray
I remember watching this when it came out on sky one in 2000, man what a series! downloaded it a few years ago - never gets old! GAYLORDS?!?!?! he says pulling out a pink crisp HAHAHAHAHAHA, dude we SO need more stuff like this on tv!
@UCvQR-UkJ7cCZSbtDxfH9CyQ not really, this guy's just decided to speak for everyone on the left's behalf for some reason, despite not having a clue. Sure, some people would probably take offence, given the world is full of stupid people, but given The Pub Landlord character is portrayed as an out of touch moron for his xenophobic and homophobic views you'd have to be a fucking idiot to either take offence or not see that he's meant to be a parody of right wingers, which presumably this guy criticising lefties is one of himself. Hilarious lack of self awareness
It's always the same with nasty people like you isn't it? Creating invisible enemies and then projecting hate onto them. This WAS on a UK channel the other day. And Al Murray continually is.
@HugisGuitarOfficialPage777 hardly. There is no problem or issue today, except in the heads of elderly, not very bright individuals who choose to ignore facts. For example, Al Murray is still on TV today playing the same character. As is this show, even if it's a bit dated now. It's satire. Similar shows are still shown too. The reality is, the "enemies" you two f***wits are fighting don't exists, but don't let that stop you. Nasty people need to be nasty, don't they?
You get that the whole joke is that Al Murray is playing a homophobic, misogynistic, sexist character who is so far in the closet he's fucking Mr Tumnus, right?
Love though him though I do - Al's character doesn't work in a sitcom despite all the effart. Nah; the washing machine's stopped and now I'm enjoying the absurd vulgarity. Amazing what machines can do! Pint please.
21 years ago we had this on Sky 1 and today RUclips... Brilliant
I remember watching this back on 2000 on sky one. Now 22 years later looking back at this I have basically become Al Murray

This would not fly on modern television. I miss these days.
It's a shame, but this today's idiocity will be gone soon, just like bad fashion does😅

Try 'Time gentlemen please' retro watch (37 episodes/videos); the episodes seem to be in order there.
Try looking for number 2.......it comes after the number 1.
This whole episode was like the Janet Jackson joke
Love the pre woke comedy here. Happy days.
Does she only play the Nicola Murray character?
Reminds me of ''Bottom'
...those were the days when comedy was homophobic misogynistic sexist....... FUNNY 🤣😂😁😃🤪😜😁😂🤣
Irony?
You get that the whole joke is that Al Murray is playing a homophobic, misogynistic, sexist character who is so far in the closet he's fucking Mr Tumnus, right?
You know Alf Garnett was played as a small minded fool?
It's taking the piss out of all that stuff you fanny!
As one of the groups which were supposedly insulted by this programme (ie a woman) I did and still do, find it hilarious.
For fuck sake having a cuppa and now ones a spliff baby
un-pc gold!
ABC Australia this what you need not Vera maigret or endeavor
Can't believe Alan Davies dumped Julia Sawalha. Is he blind?
@Sir Scofferoff They could have sheered the kids' heads and sold it to stuff cushions with!.
Looks ain`t everything,maybe she`s a Ms.Jackson-COW!
You might say that this show is political incorrect but if you have ever watched a show called Kingswood country this show is quite tame
Love though him though I do - Al's character doesn't work in a sitcom despite all the effart. Nah; the washing machine's stopped and now I'm enjoying the absurd vulgarity. Amazing what machines can do! Pint please.
The pinnacle of light entertainment… now banned by woke. Oh what have we become?
This show is not banned.
Why don’t they repeat these on telly???
Do-gooders.
Shithouse gay night
I love vicky...
