Moss was a badass in this episode, faked to be a futbol fan, got free drinks, keept working, avoided to get drunk with Roy, sneaked into a robbers hide place, saved him and his friend by faking the power of love and took some thousands of pounds without any person who suspect it was him.
Even in the US IT guys loved this show. Although we had to pirate it because well..BBC. This was around the time i was just a net admin supervising support technicians.
No matter how bad it is, it won't beat the stinking rotten pile of c******* that is the German version. The guy who played Roy's chracter is actually in prison for serial SA, and still it feels like the bigger crime was the remake.
Cant be certain but I think Pony came from when we ( Raj) ware in India because 25 Rupee coin had a pony on it. and 500 had a monkey on it. Best episode ever 🤣

Look if the messenger is saying exactly what the website prompt was showing then the messenger is also reading the same website. Which means he is a fraud and a fake. he is not a football fan. he is just like moss, coz he saw the website, learned the prompts/conversations on it and uttered ditto.
This and Big Bang Theory and Seinfeld all have that in common. The main characters aren't men. In fact you can trace it back to Friends as well, those guys weren't men either. Maybe Joey was, but the other two, no way. So the 90's is about the era it comes around, although the teen tv shows of the mid to late 80's are full of dweebs and nerds. So after MASH, Barney Miller and NYPD Blue and those classics, things started to get a wiff of sensitivity. 🙄🤢🤮
