You need more garage space. Cars like this classic machine should not be out in the snow in the winter. The only snow that my 1977 Electra has seen is the few flakes that blew in the garage when I got the snow blower out. And I think that 1978 you have is in even better shape than my 1977. Cars go downhill fast cosmetic wise when exposed to the elements like that. You might even consider renting shelter for your Buicks.
I would if it wasn't 150 a month to rent a storage container. What I really wanted to do was to build a 4 vehicle car port on the property. Nothing inclosed as that would raise my taxes. Just a car port with a roof and concrete floor to shield them from the elements.
Yes, even a carport would give a lot of protection. We have a carport attached to our house, and built the garage behind that in 1993. One winter probably won't do much harm to your Buicks, but these cars would be in much worse shape if they had spent their entire life outside. I have spent my entire life trying to keep my cars from going downhill, and it's sad to see them deteriorate. You're a car guy that I know feels the same way about cars as I do, The worst is having to drive something in all that road salt!
That's a definite cold start.
like your videos man. :)
