Not a bad car every gm car rust out I was looking at a 2003 chevy venture good van but rusted out rockers and heater was not work there a company in Canada that sale slip on rocker panel cover for all car brands I think it cost 200 for 2 but it flows with the body so you never notes it look it up man
Yeah I have a 1991 Regal with the 3.1 the owner before me was an old lady that maintained it very well. When its below 35 degrees the pistons slap until the car warms up and the oil has fully circulated. meanwhile my younger brother has a 2004 impala with a 3800 and it's quiet regardless of the temps. Our mother had a 2003 Malibu and it had the piston slap as well . 3.1's are good motors though. Although pre-dexcool motors are better in my opinion. Dexcool motors have gasket issues
The Drivers side one is mint, passenger side one is rotted near the front. That's the only rust on this whole car. Been rust proofed every year since the early 2000's. With the best stuff to, Krown, only in Canada!
Looks like pretty clean engine bay
It's been like almost a year and a half I think I've been waiting for the green century

201,126 kms = 124,972 miles
Not a bad looking car, usually these cars are all rusty. Do you know why exactly the motor makes that noise when cold?
All these 3.1L's do this when cold, it's just abit of piston slap, nothing to worry about.

How are the rocker panels? I really don't like these cars they rot too quick
You can tell they are pretty bad. Everything rots to quick in the cancer belts unless you oil the shit out of them and wash them 1-2 times a week.
