Ik how you feel it’s quite sad tbh your friends say who wants to fake tan with the girls and we just stand their thinking if we should say something 😂😂
Once you've fake tanned your hands apply mousterizer on them it's stops it from clinging on the knuckles and the wrist best fake tan tip I've ever gotten
Use a make up brush to apply tan to hands and feet, mix it with moisturiser. Then just go over areas with a damp face cloth that tend to get darker. This is usually fool proof and can't see any lines, blends right out.
i think you are best putting a lot of moisturiser on your hands before you fake tan them and then lightly use the mitt on top, that seems to work for me most of the time
I'm very pale but I like watching these for some reason 😂 I tried tan 15 years ago I looked like a varnished door you know that orange colour, hoping the fans better now might try again sometime
Not shade but have some tips and pet hates - people commenting about how good the colour of a tan is when applying or before showering. If you are the kinda girl that goes out before showering off a fake this makes slight sense, but the ingredient in tan is DHA this is the same in all tan. The colour guide in a tan has no impact whatsoever on the outcome of the tan, it’s the percentage of DHA within the tan. The higher the percentage the darker the tan. Some tan has no colour guide whatsoever and looks clear but still the tan outcome is the same. -Tanning moose will always be a liquid before you pump and dispense into a foam, if you want a lighter colour go to somewhere like home bargains/Superdrug and get some small travel size pump spray bottles, simply pour tan into this and dilute with water and shake for a lighter tan. I would tan body with the moose and lightly spray the hands for a better look. -if you have both dark and light moose then great, but using the above method have two colours dark and make a light one and use for contouring of cleavage and face, use the darker lightly for cheekbones and cleavage and front of legs this looks amazing. -DHA will not stain your hair, but the brown colour guide will, to avoid you hair getting stained it’s the colour guide, simply pull it up into a hair bobble and spray hairspray across the frontal part of hair, if you eyebrows tint orange/brown spray a little hairspray onto your finger and run across your eyebrows and allow to dry, then tan as normal. The hairspray will not allow the tint to stain and will wash off when you shower. -putting more tan on a not developed tan makes no difference whatsoever. Only by allowing it too develop, having a shower and doing it all over again will it make you look more tanned.
Just me that only uses St Moritz, never had an issue with it and find £20 plus a lot for fake tan?! 😬 Love the mini mitt for the face ♥️ EDIT just watched the review part of the film where Han mentions St M lol.
Still love at Moritz! I have tried st tropez and bondi sands and find them both overrated! I Do really like australis ultimate dark tan violet vase, however I will say that you’d need two layers because when you wash, a lot does come off! I always found that St moritz would last me ages but it just wasn’t dark enough for me! I still absolutely love it though x
Rachael Burt I mix st Moritz with a little bit of st tropez ultra dark and it makes it darker. The st tropez is so expensive but when I mix it with the cheap st Moritz it last me three times as long as it would if I was just using it alone. The formulas mix well together and it’s never been streaky for me.
If you like dark tan please try australis ultimate dark tan violet base. It’s verrrrrrry dark, makes you look like you’ve been in the sun for 2 weeks! I wouldn’t say it gives you that “golden tan” they do another tan for that, the violet base one gives you a more brownish/burnt colour (You absolutely don’t end up looking burnt with it)! I dunno I am terrible at explaining things tbh. I just really like the tan and the colour it gives! It’s better than bondi sands ultra dark stuff. I’ll need to give this a wee try though! X
When it comes to hands, I always leave them until the end and then I’ll take a dab of moisturiser and a dab of fake tan and mix them together on the top of each hand and then rub it in to both. Then I go over both very lightly with the remnants on the mitt. If I think it’s clinging to knuckles, I take a baby wipe to just the knuckles. Works for me! X

To do my face and hands the best tip I ever learnt was to get a big makeup brush squirt one pump of tan to one pump of moisturiser and buff! Streak free and perfectly blended every time
Me: naturally tanned/olive skinned and is a POC watches this video even though it doesn't apply to me because I've never fake tanned in my life 😂 (because I don't need to). I don't really know how fake tan is supposed to look however shouldn't it look browner (rather than kinda orange)? Lots of love Han xx
To be fair as someone who is naturally ghost white I don’t bother either. For me fake tan always looks “wrong” compared to a natural summer tan. It always looks orange in my eyes.
Wow I love how dark it went! It looked really good but I agree the hands went a little funny 👍🏼 I also find some cheaper brands leak in the same way not sure if it’s the packaging?
Little tip for the knuckles - I always use moisturiser on the areas that college tan the most before applying it (knuckles being one of them) and this really helps them not going darker than the rest of my hand! Great video, I want this tan!
The colour reminds me of the cheap fake tans I used when I first got into it years ago.. I wouldn’t buy this product but thanks for doing a video to show us
Usually I use St Moriz and I love it, interestingly Filter I found was amazing on my hands!! Super smooth!! And didn’t cling anywhere but I cake my hand sin moisturiser so maybe that’s why :)
OMFG you're the first person I've seen mention warm/cool tones and I've been looking for info on that for 2 day! I will go search your channel for info on the skinny tan one! Also you're adorable
Beautiful 😊. Would love a figure like yours! Your eyes are popping also. What foundation do you use, your face looks flawless and I love it's not really matte aswell, I'm on the look out for something good atm 💖

Like an expensive wedding dress? Or you have a white sofa, do you risk sitting down?? Does it wash off well from your clothes? or it’s just gonna have to have a tan stain forever? I have so many Qs...
I use cheap fake tan but a St Tropez mitt as its velvet on both sides and never leaks through. Also you could use latex gloves as well as the tanning mitt if you like the mitt you have.
I’m so pale but I dunno if I should spend so much ! And I don’t want to be too dark/ Orange but at the same time don’t want to look like I’ve only got bronzer on so what shade would be best xxx

I’m at the end of the video n thinking why I watched this. I have Indian skin ✌🏽 so “tanned” even in winter but get super tan in the summer. I just love watching Hannah 💓
Do you have to wash it off the next day? Like a spray tan? Because usually with fake tans (not spray) you don’t wash it off. Is Filter like an in between fake tan and spray tan? Love that it’s vegan and cruelty free plus would like to support one of our English girls rising up xx
I always use a stippling brush for my hands & feet find it helps apply all fake tans better in these areas. & no I don’t fake tan my palms but I have psoriasis so it would look 🤢 if I didn’t have psoriasis I still probably wouldn’t bother either tbf
Hiya! The colour you of the tan is just a bronzer and is not what your tan will look like, once you wash it off it will slowly develop darker over a few hours. Putting on 2 layers of fake tan makes no difference and you will end up losing more product ☺️
I see what you’re getting at with your comment but olive skin isn’t a shade, it’s a tone, like warm and cool. You can be very pale and olive. Also there should be dark fake tans so they work on people with darker skin tones that still want a tan.
I have got to the tanning part and I don’t think I can carry on seeing all the cream surfaces 😭 I get stressed doing it on the white tiled area in my bathroom 😂
Your natural skin is so much prettier on you. Love the skin you're in!! I am super white and used to obsess over tanning. I am over it. God made me this way. Save time and money and just be YOU. :o)
I recommend you never mix tan with moisturiser unless it says so on the bottle. Apply the tan onto you body and moisturise when it dries, always. Mixing wet tan with products like makeup or moisturisers will turn it green, and so will tight clothes.
Just started watching your videos and I think your great! I struggle with knuckles too but barrier cream or oil based cream before putting the tan on your hands, knees, ankle bones and elbows really helps me 😁
Tara L I think it looks a bit orange on her because she is naturally very pale and has pink undertones. It looks more bronze/golden on people with more golden/yellow undertones. I have light-medium skin and have golden/yellow undertones and I have a friend who has pink undertones. We used the same tan once and mine looked bronze whereas hers looked very orange and obvious that she had tan on.
@@mikokat13 oh okay. Its so annoying because i have really pale skin with pink undertones. Surely fake tak is mainly for people with pale skin who cant tan, that's the whole idea right? :(
Tara L It can still look *amazing* on people with pink undertones! You just have to be a tad more careful - make sure you moisturise drier areas (such as the hands, knees, elbows, ankles etc) so that the pigment in the tan (which is usually more orange based) doesn’t cling to these areas too much, and make sure you don’t go in too heavy or choose a tan that’s too dark for you or it’ll look unnatural - there are so many girls at my college who decide to *change race* by layering up and choosing a tan that’s wayyy too dark for them 😬. I have another friend who has pink undertones and her tan looks very natural on her because she doesn’t go in heavy and makes sure to moisturise before application (she uses a St Moriz mousse btw). I also recommend to use a dense makeup brush to buff out tan on the hands, face, ankles, and feet because it’s very hard to get a seamless tan on these areas when using a mitt. Have a nice Christmas 😊
Tara L hey i don’t know if this will be helpful or not but let’s roll with it. there’s a brand called australis that do 3 different tones of tan, the green one is great to give you a pretend olive skin tone as not to be orange, it’s the one i use. highly recommend and whilst it isn’t awfully cheap, you can usually get it on offer in Superdrug

This is darker than olive skin tone which is worrying for fake tan
I see what you’re getting at with your comment but olive skin isn’t a shade, it’s a tone, like warm and cool. You can be very pale and olive.
Also there should be dark fake tans so they work on people with darker skin tones that still want a tan.

Daisy and Ellie thank you!! I’m glad you liked this :)
Hi, does anyone know if this leave the skin waterproof?
Dark? It’s bright orange 🍊 😂 FML! Hilarious
apply tan with a makeup brush on your hands!
What do you use on your body before tanning? Xx
I feel like its quite orange :(
Tara L I think it looks a bit orange on her because she is naturally very pale and has pink undertones.
Athena_IIV every white girl looks orange with fake tan on it never looks natural
Can you test dripping gold tan x
