The first time i saw a video of Asterism was "DAWN, (live) ". Until today.. it`s the more amazing song i have seen from them (in any version of video) that was pure SHRED.
Congratulations on finding the best new power trio since (in my opinion) Cream. They are from Fukuoka, Japan, and consist of: Haruka Noma, guitars (“HAL-CA”) (23 November, 2002) Miyu Yoshinaka, bass (12 March, 2002) Mio Yoshinaka, drums (13 November, 1999) They started as an all-instrumental band, and have recently begun adding vocals. They were formed in 2014 when Noma was 11 and the brothers were 12 and 14 respectively. They were all playing at a talent fair for young musicians in their hometown, when one of the music scouts noticed them, had a hunch and suggested they play together. The result was, to say the least, explosive. Most of their current youtube catalogue is fan-made live video footage, much of it at the Hard Rock Café in Fukuoka. There are also several clips from their tours of the U.S., including stops in Austin, Los Angeles and New York. From the start, they have written most of their own music, covering a wide range of styles. The brothers bring a lot of jazz and funk ideas into their playing. Miyu plays 4,5 and 7-string basses, which are co-lead instruments in his hands. They are all phenomenal talents, but the big draw has been Noma, known by her first name Haruka or by her stage name Hal-Ca. She has been likened to a reincarnation of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, with bits of Joe Satriani, Nuno Bettencourt and Akira Takasaki, among others, thrown in. You’re a musician, now imagine the scene where Hitlers troops marched in and did their thing, now close your eyes and listen again, for me I can imagine the troops marching in and with each score I can feel the emotion of that devastation! In the end when Hal-Ca is going crazy is where I imagine the Germans bombing the hell out of the city! Church speaks to me and when I heard it live it was astonishing!! Btw Hal-Ca had just turned 18 yrs old

Dawn live is a must watch . Believe it or not Church is a slow song for this trio. Dawn will blow your mind. Halca was only 16 in this video.
