This is your first exposure to Haruka (Hal-Ca) and two brothers Miyu and Mio, you're gonna have to check out more of their music. Before the corona covid ordeal happened back in 2019 they toured the USA and I got to see them when they came to the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas and they blew us all away. So I went off and bought all of their Eps and albums and I do have all except the new album. They are extremely phenomenal very talented youngsters Hal-Ca is 19 years of age Miyu is 20 and Mio is 23, several days ago you checked out Ayu Gusfanz and now Hal-Ca these two young ladies are my ultimate favorite along with Miyako and Midori, no one is better than them in my book.
Another fantastic band from Japan to check out is Sokoninaru. They are also a three piece, but also have vocals. Best described as math rock. Either check out their version of the same song, which is rather tame for them: ruclips.net/video/52BAHIV191g/видео.html or go full on with one of their own songs: ruclips.net/video/Nl4Z5f4QwEY/видео.html
They are really otherworldly good and still so young at age, but doing this for a couple of years now. For next time, please check out some of their original songs, like "Dawn", "Light in thedarkness" or "Church". Thanks 🤘🏻🙂
Asterism is soooo good!! 🔥🤘😆🤘🔥 One of my current favorite bands. To me, their masterpiece is "Dawn" particularly this live fan-cam version: ruclips.net/video/buQPvINJcA0/видео.html Funny this is, I was watching a bunch of Asterism videos on RUclips, and I got shown a Polyphia video. Cool band that I need to check out more. Great reaction.
I had never heard of Asrerism before this vid. I love to watch reaction vids as to me its similar to listening to something for the first time with a friend. Job done, my friend! I will definitely look for more Asterism.
✨ASTERISM Live "Light In The Darkness" ruclips.net/video/QpxNcZoNjVU/видео.html "Church" Live Studio ruclips.net/video/pkiKSBX8JPA/видео.html LOVEBITES (Midori & Miyako Dual lead guitar) "Holy War" Live ruclips.net/video/bgAxpEpEcno/видео.html
The band that the singer for that opening is from is also pretty math/post rock. Ling Tosite Sigure (The guitarist/singer is called Tk and the anime opening is from a solo project of his) They have some really cool songs, You should check out the song "nakano kill you" for their older raw sound, or for tk's solo stuff there is a live version of the song "film a moment" that's really good or "Haze" if you want to see someone shred on a 12 string acoustic guitar.
Their MV and studio battles live is awesome but I prefer them live with a crowd, then they are on fire. The fancam och the song Dawn is something else! You got another instrumental band from Japan. D_drive. Check out their song 1 000 000 HP
This band is truly exceptional and Hal-Ca (Haruka) is already a guitar goddess at 19. She is playing two guitar lines in this video so it sounds a bit fuller than the live version.
Nice choice. I don't think they get nearly enough attention, although that's starting to change. They played a bunch of small gigs in and around Ausin, Texas during SXSW in 2019. I was lucky enough to see them in a small club in L.A., just before they headed back to Japan. Those are their only US shows so far. The first full album, 'Ignition' is more straight ahead Heavy Metal. It holds up just fine. You might want to check out songs like 'Dawn', 'Rising Moon', etc. The last two releases, 'GUERNICA" and 'GUERNICA + a', are their most progressive so far. The follow up is going to be a Japanese anime x metal cover album titled "Animetic", to be released on September 9th, 2022. The band members chose their favorite anime themes to "Asterism-ize". Not what I was expecting, but I'm really looking forward to it.
I mean unravel is already a pretty hard song (original not cut intro) and is damn good in its own right… but the playing here is just stupid good! And if you dive into anime intros you would see that a lot do in fact sound similar but the actual range of anime music is stupidly diverse! All genres and styles! I would say this isn’t even a metal cover this is just as instrumental cover the original may even go a little harder… this is one hell of a cover!
You have not yet listened to the awesome, all-female, Japanese metal band Lovebites. The link is to Winds of Transylvania a song they were asked to write for a new anime series. Following this you should react to other Lovebites (especially live) material. They are the best metal band playing at the moment! ruclips.net/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/видео.html

Haruka only 20 they have been together since 2015 so you can see how young they were when they started!
The original has vocals. Hal-Ca is playing the vocal line on guitar.
🤘🏻Asterism🤘🏻
True prodigies.

Good to see you again old fellow!
Thanks bud! These videos take time and I just started a new job so it's been a bit tougher to get them out!

Incredibly tight band. I suppose they’d have to be for that kind of music.

Bass player tapping two strings at the same time???????? With chords,it happens so fast I almost didn't catch it wow
The drummer’s hi-hat work was great but can easily be lost in the mix.
