    I had the same experience this sprinkler. The water is barely coming out. I put my old sprinker back and on and will be returning the Husky.

    I will concur I am getting nowhere near 4500 sq ft with this unit and it stops oscillating. For 30 bucks you’d think you’d get a decent sprinkler. Thanks for doing a video!

      I like its build quality and it works well too, it's just the coverage I didn't like, it's almost half the coverage that of my old cheap sprinkler can deliver, enjoy yours.

    I just bought this today, wish I had seen this video first. The quality seems good, but coverage is awful. I thought mine was defective or clogged, but it looks like this is just how they work

      Hi, yes, I was surprised, too, given their high build quality but only poor coverage, I'm trying out a tripod Aqua Joe one and making a video on that soon, thanks for watching, cheers.

      Purchase this about a month ago. The coverage is fine however this thing leaks unbelievably at the connection with the hose

    How many gallons per minute does this use. I'M happy enough with this. But on max setting it reaches about 24x12 and thats set 2 feet off the ground. I may have a presure issue. The hose connection is troublesome and leaks heavily if not perfect even with a tight connection.

      Hi, I honestly can't remember and can't check for you because I have returned both of mine. I use the Orbit smart timer and I think the app was telling me during that time, average water consumption was around 2 to 3 gallons per minute. Now, this is purely from memory only. The app usually measures accurately, but I just can't remember this detail. Thanks for watching, cheers.

      Hi, thanks for watching. That cheaper sprinkler was purchased years ago from Lowe's for less than $10, I think the brand name is Gilmour or Melnor, I saw earlier on the Home Depot app some Melnor Oscillating Sprinkler on sale in store for less than $5, going to store myself to see if I can find one or two, thanks for watching, cheers.

      I bought the one for $ 11 Melnor at Home Depot and yes it works better than the pricy ones

    Return the husky for the ones that stake in the ground, little cumbersome to setup but they have good reach and work like a regular irrigations type spray head. They are made by rain bird and cost like 20 bucks each.

      Hi, I actually do have those but haven't set them up yet, I have two full kits that include everything needed for setup, got mine from home depot but brand name is Orbit, I've seen the Rain Bird ones at Lowe's I think, thanks for watching and commenting, cheers.

    So what is the old one?

      @WheeNC-DIY  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi, Just the standard $10 ones you'd find at Lowe's or Home Depot, Walmart has slightly stronger metal ones for $17 but have not tested them, thanks for watching, cheers.

      Hi, these oscillate fine but the coverage is not enough for even a small front yard like mine, thanks for watching, cheers.
