The ownership will get a big dose of reality if they do move to Vegas. Vegas will not support a losing team. If they continue playing like they have been, attendance will keep dropping and they will be forced to move again.
I'm 60. Today's youth doesn't really care about long or short term history. They care about money and themselves - lol but true. Not wise. The As history is rich - The early 70s teams incredible. I empathize with their fans - a shame that the Oakland Athletics are in this deplorable situation. Very sad to see. You respect history and tradition - similar to the Oskland Raiders and Houston Oilers. Happy Easter everyone.

Announced attendance in pro sports is tickets sold, not how many people actually show up. Turnstile count is not announced anymore because it would look too bad. The Carolina Panthers announced 73K attendance one game this season in their 80K stadium and actual turnstile count was less than 10K per an insider.
It seemed the real protest was second game LOL. 3,400 attendance.😁😁😜
@@99somervilleAlso I have heard in the past few years that some places will count all the arena/stadium employees working that particular day as part of the "attendance". Basically if you are in the building and are a human with a head they will count you as part of the attendance, for some teams. This is not a fact nor verifiable but I have heard it a handful of times over the past ~10 years.

Opening nigh 2025 at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada.The Red Rock casino is pushing hard for the A's to relocate their for the next two years before opening up their new park in 2028.
Silly people! It wasn't THEM, the "boycotters" that caused the low attendance at this Opening Day game or ANY game! It the
lack of talent, the care less attitude that the A's have projected for years, trading good players for no reason, to lower the already
lowest budge in the league. And most importantly, THE HIGH PRICE TICKETS ($17 minimum) one has to pay to see a Minor League
team with not AAA, or AA talent, but less than college...i.e...high school talent! The protestors can delude themselves all they want,
that THEY, THEIR BOYCOTT was the reason for the low turn out all they want. The A's have had low turn out for eons now, before their
boycott group was ever formed. But this is Oakland and the dysfunction they live and thrive in...I, WE did this, we were successful!
See How Powerful We Are! When we ban together in love, community and tolerance we achieve low attendance! We're great! Plz!
They paid $30 for parking to sit around in a parking lot?
