no, you can go for graduate certificate leading to msw
Is there any age limit? And are we allowed to do part time job while studying?
Hi, as far as I know, age is not an issue. I have seen people in late 50s getting social work degree and get the job. Regarding part time job, it depends on what visa you are on. International students are entitled for 24 hours a week but please check the authorised website for these info.

@@yashverma6498 It depends on which university you choose. You have to meet the language requirement, previous work experience requirement or even academic grade requirement. Basically you need to check on the website of each university. For instance, if you were to apply in Melbourne University you will need to at-least have an undergraduate degree. Having a paid job close to the area makes your application stronger. But if you still don't have any experience, you may still get an admission but may have to study some extra course.

no you cannot because AASW wont assess your degree but VETASSESS can assess your sociology degree.

I don’t think it’s discrimination:
One things is more females are interested in nursing and allied related health related jobs in Australia
And another is I feel like females in overall are more qualified here , which ultimately increases their chances in social work as well

@@nishedhdahal1571 it depends upon university rating , fees,living cost , transportation, stay back period , if you are looking for PR in AUSTRALIA , then that should be also taken consideration about the location of the college,PR process will be more easy in regional areas of AUSTRALIA. . first and foremost is , the course must be accredited by AUSTRALIAN ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL Workers (AASW). SO first of all search in google about (AASW Australia accredited courses) There you can see colleges been divided based upon in which state they are located. After that go to each college's website look through the entry requirements and all other details. And you can directly talk to them through mail , You can see that in the enquiry section. Contact a reputed agency
