You're welcome! Frame.io saved me from the horror that was clients sending emails full of time-code or vague descriptions. They've also been building some pretty awesome features for remote work lately. Worth the monthly fee. Not paid to say that.

The color bubbles by the name do not seem to change color. So, when you add new notes, it is all the same color and you literally have to scrub through everything to see changes. Other than the "approval button" is there a way to change that color?
I don't know of a way to change that color. I agree, that'd be super helpful!
I really wish there was a way to send a link of the said video at a specific timecode. like how RUclips videos cant be shared.

As far as I know, deleted comments are deleted forever.
i'm adding on screen notations (using the pen illustrator) and using a time code range at the same time. the on screen notations disappear as soon as that range plays... is there any way to get those notes on screen to remain throughout the selected time-range for that comment?
Not that I know of. I think the annotations disappear in case you circle something and it moves as the footage plays (circling one face in a crowd, for example). Someone might not navigate to the right moment in that range that you were trying to circle.

I am trying to change the location of some comments (ie the timing was off for some so instead of deleting them re-writing them), wondering if there's a way to drag the mini circles on the timeline so that the change in time stamp gets automatically done...haven't been able to figure this out
A few tries in the app didn’t get me anywhere… it looked like it wanted to change, but wouldn’t. I’ll try from my computer later and update this if I find any good news.
Hi I have an excel and csv files that have the comments with time code is there a way to insert automatically the comment in exact time code ? I have line 1000 lines( comments) in excel and need to put in the video of more than 1 hour, can you help ?
I can't personally help, BUT: There are a ton of tools online (and even fiverr.com gigs) that will convert the CVS into SRT.
Can you please tell me why the "delete or edit comment" options are not available on my comment?
it is a pink circle and all the others are purple.
I cannot tell you why. When I have little issues with the interface, I've had some success with reloading the page, or clicking away from the comment. I wish I could help!
How do I clear a range once I've created it? I have tried deleting the comment it is attached to but the play head will only play that range then stop. I cannot move the play head to any other part of the timeline to play. If I do, it snaps back to the last frame of the range and won't play. Thanks!
When I make a comment and drag the handle to make a range, there's a pop up at the bottom of the player (above the comment box) that says "Click ESC to Clear Playhead Range." I can click that actual button or press the ESC key and it gets rid of the range for me. I'm using Safari on macOS Monterey.
1 question, maybe someone can help:
i can see the advantage of the shown example. it's very helpful. BUT what if you receive these comments from the client and then you make another version. client comments, has to type his email again. you create another version. client has to type in his email AGAIN to comment.... and so on...
is there another way to comment as a client without typing in the email adress repeatedly?
or have i overlooked something?
This is a great question. I have two thoughts:
1) If the client has cookies enabled, their browser will remember and they probably don’t have to login each time. I may be wrong about this, but I haven’t had clients complain about needing to do this in spite of multiple drafts sent to them.
2) If it IS making them login every time, you can add them as a collaborator to the project ($15/month?) and then they’ll be able to make a login that will work just like your own.
Those are my best guesses!

how do i edit? i have a chrombook and dont know how to edit a video.
You'll need some editing software! I've exclusively been a Mac user (and Final Cut Pro user) for almost 20 years now, and I just don't know what software is ideal for you. Adobe Premiere is the standard choice, I'm not sure how well it would run on a ChromeBook, though. Click around, check RUclips, and I'm sure you'll be able to find a bunch of good ideas to get started editing on your ChromeBook. Good luck!
