    I am now in the end of my first year college. I procastinated the whole year . I didn't even have fun because at the back of my mind there is always the guilt of procastination . everyday I would tell my self that I will start today but I open my lecture and start browsing youtube videos for hours . I repeat this cycle for months and one day I wake up 2 days before final. here are my top advice
    1 stop watching motivational youtube videos cuz you already know what to do.
    2 don't think of your studies as a big obstace you have to take .
    3 study with your friends at least twice a week cuz you will learn a lot.
    bonus tip get outside of your room and regularly have fun after completing your studies.

      I did this in the 4th year of my college life which is now.. I've extended my thesis because of this.. the guilty of procrastinating.. and lead to a series of broke down, burning out, addiction, and depression 😢 it's just awful.. and I'm to ashamed to talk to my closest person..

      I'm currently in the same situation right now, I'm in my first year and soon about to write my exams. I came up with an individual timetable for each subject on the 10/01/24, but now it's the 26/01/24 and I haven't revised or read my notes since then. Our exams are scheduled on the 13/02/24, at least there's still time but then again I might just end up procrastinating till the day of exams.😢

    I'm overwhelmed, because I have procrastinated so long time that the tasks are now is everything too much for me.

      Just start it. Starting something will get you done with the tasks quicker than just avoiding it totally. Just get up and start it, don’t think about how much you have to do.

      Guilt, fear . Forgive urself, use meditation and say nice words to yourself.
      I am aware that i am pending my work
      I feel fear when doing this task
      I feel fear when think of.....
      It is okay to feel that way, it is part of my body
      I forgive myself for doing procrastination
      I forgive myself, i forgive myself
      .
      .....
      Give it a try using meditation music, deep breath before doing it. And do it everday till the feeling of lost getting better

    I just don't feel happy doing anything, I don't feel motivated, I'm disciplined but still doing nothing.. I don't like talking to my family friends and to no one ... I know if I start running I'll be unstoppable but I'm stucked somewhere I can't figured it out ...most of the time I'm lying in my bed thinking about my future ...! I'm done convincing myself!

      If you want to procrastinate less and concentrate better on studying you can study with me here.
      Instead of watching videos on youtube you can have a video of me studying and keeping you company, so you don't get distracted.
      I study for 1-3 hours with breaks in between while I keep you company
      If you're interested, feel free to study with study videos of mine
      Hopefully it will be useful for you...

      I’m actually crying right now bc I’ve been trying to explain how I feel but the way I try to it makes it sound silly…this is exactly how I feel and I just feel so stuck and suffocated

      I will pray for you all. Tell me anything else, I’ll be here for you. Jesus loves you a lot more than I ever could, go to him first and He will show you the correct way. Trust me, it may be difficult, but worth it. You won’t ever regret running to him like a child, I can tell you that. He won’t ever shame you or condemn you, but show you the greatest love nobody else could. He laid down his life for you, even when he had all the power to not do it, he had you in his heart. ❤

    Actually it's a nature to feel procrastinating but one thing is true if you repeat again and againg what you planned to do and stay focused it simply became adoptable
    ''Note'' discipline and regret both are painfull and option is yours to live with the pain of regret or the pain of discipline

    😁Studying for long amounts of time require focus in environments that want to push us towards distraction. So, I think it's important to have intrinsic and external motivation to help us start. Social media is a good tool to have, but it can take away some potential we do have.
    I'll end with this: Rome wasn't built in a day...
    Even less was it built alone!

      Make it easy by doing it for Just 5 mins then next time 10 minutes

      And if you are trying to study for eg then tell yourself that you like studying more and more. Become that person who loves studying and change your identity
      Make small progress and make that activity easy at first

    I am pressing forward once again to sit for an exam I have taken and paid for 6 times. I have missed by 1 point based on text variable score 4 times. I tried to appeal each time, only to be told I would need to study and take the test again after 90 days. Procrastination is not the problem, just frustration with how the system works.

    I put off doing what I WANT to do AND what I DONT want to do because they both involve getting dressed and ready. Only women will understand that. Especially if you hate the mirror and don’t have anything you want to wear.

    What if my case is so bad that I can't even force myself to watch s TV show I wanna watch or play a game I wanna play? I'm even procrastinating from procrastination. It's that bad.
