But such a mixed economy should also involve wage limits on the leadership as existed during the NEP along with trade unions not completely being in state control(agreement of wages increasing in proportion with production increase).

Bernie Sanders is a Liberal and a Socialist in a Capitalist country US. He wrote several books, one of them became a best seller (Our Revolution: A Future to Believe In). The book earned him royalties and made him a millionaire, under the very Capitalist system. When asked if he intends to spend his millions on social welfare (re distribute income), he dogged the question and said he was never against the millionaires but against multi millionaires. This is typical of Socialists and Communists who live in Capitalist systems. Socialism and Communism is nothing but one of the two most popular "Choorans" sold to poor by rich Socialists / Communists, other being Religion.
@@braveheart8318 "Social Democrat" is a sugar coated word for Socialist (though s diluted form) in Capitalist countries. In Capitalist countries you cannot sell Socialism / Communism because people despise these ideologies (even Muzdoor and Kissan - the proletariat) and hence the innovation. The situation in Pak was/is not free market but the Army which never allowed the democratic process to run causing lack of political and economic stability. Free market capitalism does does work in developing countries, just look at India. Compare Indian economy before 1990 (Socialist) and after 1990 (Free market capitalist). The issue I have with Socialists (particularly in Pak) is not that they earn money through their labor, but that many of them employ the same capitalist system which their criticize like owning the means of production and hiring labor to produce out put to run successful businesses and then sell the choorun of Socialism to poor, just as Mullahs sell Religion to the poor.

Free market, privatization+ competition is derived due to capitalization otherwise no point in production, manufacturing e.t.c. I agree with u to some extent but I would take a centre point. More of mixed system not pure socialist approach nor complete capitalist.

1) if state owns means of production than it will repel investors
2) profit maximization is essetial to run a business. Because without profit there is no advantage of the business even it is state owned.
3) lastly either it is capitalism or socialism, both systems work best in an educated and the peacefull society.
How we can asses the credibility of a system in an uneducated country with multiple leadership flaw etc...

Even if we accept capitalism as the only system, it’s not working how it’s theoretically supposed to. For all liberals, free markets and limited government guarantee individual freedom. But the main contradiction in the views of capitalist liberals like Miftah Ismail is that they believe:
1) That free markets exist. But in the same breath, they acknowledge cartels & monopolies that discourage free & competitive trade.
2) In Limited Government. But actually there is socialism for the rich. The govt. role is limited to the protection of the same monopolies and cartels , & industries enjoying subsidies and tax cuts.
Don’t get me started on individual freedom.

Sir, what is your explanation for the Wage=MPL (Marginal Product of Labor) as Capitalist claims that they offer wages equal the marginal product of Labor.
That just means that the precious workers produces surplus.

In theory your Socialist Model seems wonderful but practically you haven't given the example of any one poor weak democratic state/country that is able to follow your socialist Model. Its same like suggesting to buy a high end luxury car to someone who cant even afford to buy a Motor cycle and does not know how to drive the car even. Powerful autocratic and democratic states/countries may be following your suggested/observed socialist model but how do a poor weak democratic states like Pakistan can practically follow such model ? .. please shed some light on this aspect.
