Tariffs are taxes on goods. Those taxes are passed on to the consumer in the form of increased prices by the companies. Electronics, cars, etc. Countries don't pay Tariffs, the consumers do.
Corporate taxes are business expenses and are passed on to the consumer.

I would rather listen to someone on the budget committee vs someone on the news. Income Tax chart would change for everyone and it would allow the government to take out additional taxes up to a certian amount. 12% will go up to 15% and so on.
