There was a case a few months back where a sister self-disclosed that her brother had assaulted her and JM literally stopped everything, asked the sister if she even wanted it to air, and then comforted her. Meanwhile, she lets this man say a lot and they literally cut to her almost smirking at him as he talks. And *then*, to make matters worse, she doesn't even acknowledge the plaintiff's shock and obvious distress and instead asks if she really has that tattoo and when the plaintiff says yes, JM's attitude towards her immediately changes. I've never seen her basically turn her back on a plaintiff in disgust like she did in this case. The tone with which she said, "you go to the beginning of it", with her arms crossed and head turned away like that, was shocking. She almost gets off on reading people's texts out loud and always demands to see texts in the phone so she can snoop but when the plaintiff pleads with her to do it, all of a sudden she acts like the phone is too gross for her to even touch. That whole exchange should have been edited out. I've disagreed with her rulings a few times but I've never been genuinely disgusted and appalled by her like this. JM and the production team should be ashamed of themselves. Zero excuse.

The witness came up a d said the man never paid him, and he ended up finishing her stuff. They have a verbal agreement, even without the written contract, that he would be done in 2 weeks. And 2 months on she's claiming she can't get lost wages. That's the exact type of case where you WOULD get them. But she refused her, and I 100% believe it's because he said such vile things about the plaintiff.

JM always tries to cut as many corners as she can to pay them the least amount possible bc she knows it’s coming out of her pocket basically. She def should have got lost wages. I would wait a couple weeks (even tho he said 7 days) for my child’s daycare to reopen but most people can not wait 2 months and would have no other choice to find a new daycare and once ur child is resettled some place else who would want to resettle them once again. So it would def be his fault that she lost some of her clients!

These are my exact thoughts. 100%. It’s so distasteful and insensitive to not edit that part out. They could have kept the part about the butterfly tattoo if they wanted salacious content, but SA is going way too far. The defendant went way too far in saying it, but the editors were irresponsible for leaving it in.
With how quick she started crying, I'd say it's likely the SA happened. And yeah, it's sickening Judge MM let him tell that, the plaintiff looked traumatized.
When it got really dark JM did interject. She asked about the tattoo to determine if he was making all this up. I hope the plaintiff uses discernment going forward with sharing her most sensitive details of her life.

The man was saying that to prove his case. I don't think he said it to be malicious. I personally didn't get that from him. But I do believe the woman was lying. Even when she pulled up the text to show he was flirting, the judge said that's not what it was. I belive everything the man said. And her daughter is an adult, not a child. I just don't see a point in the man lying about that. Even his demeanor as he is saying it didn't seem as if he was being petty or anything. But again I wasn't there, so this is just my personal observation.

These are my exact thoughts. 100%. It’s so distasteful and insensitive to not edit that part out. They could have kept the part about the butterfly tattoo if they wanted salacious content, but SA is going way too far. The defendant went way too far in saying it, but the editors were irresponsible for leaving it in.
With how quick she started crying, I'd say it's likely the SA happened. And yeah, it's sickening Judge MM let him tell that, the plaintiff looked traumatized.

The man was saying that to prove his case. I don't think he said it to be malicious. I personally didn't get that from him. But I do believe the woman was lying. Even when she pulled up the text to show he was flirting, the judge said that's not what it was. I belive everything the man said. And her daughter is an adult, not a child. I just don't see a point in the man lying about that. Even his demeanor as he is saying it didn't seem as if he was being petty or anything. But again I wasn't there, so this is just my personal observation.
My heart breaks for the plaintiff; generous people like her are usually taken advantage of. I speak from experience. Most people mistake kindness for weakness, so sad.
