John Volanthen and Richard Stanton are the only ones in the world who could pull this off. A thai navy seal died in the attempt.. they are so unbelievably good at what they do and big heroes too..
There are a few other people around the world that would be at the same skill level

Just watched ‘The Rescue’ yesterday. It was very insightful in that one got a detailed picture of all that went behind the scenes, the role each person played in what became a historic, never been attempted rescue effort. I couldn’t help but be emotional in certain parts. What an incredible celebration of the human spirit. Totally worth watching!
where did you watch it? I'm trying to find it online and can't
The Rescue was an amazing experience to watch and time again I am blown away by Chai and Jimmy Chins filmmaking abilities. And John is a true hero
Really Really Enjoyed that Interview... Thank You!!!!
I saw this documentary so many times I have lost count. Such a beautiful film depicting the coming together of thousands of people from far flung places in Thailand and the world for only one thing - to save the boys!!! They were not expecting rewards or recognition in return but they offered their time, expertise and hard labour. I have been to Thailand many times and I know how wonderful these people are but this film captured the beauty and selflessness of their culture and their people!!!! The rescuers….WOW!!! Mission impossible accomplished and yet to this day they remain humble and self deprecating. I guess because they are British and Australians!!!!
Wonderful interview, thank you!
I remember how my heart leapt with joy when I heard that the 13th boy was freed from the cave, the world got together like it rarely does, we need to get back to that
Mr Volanthen is such a beautiful human being and so humble. The world could use many more of you sir. And yes you ARE a Hero!! The rescue is a fantastic account of the this amazing, unbelievable rescue. ❤
The way Chai stares at Volanthen when he speaks is so unnatural, too self conscious, stares directly into his eyeballs.
Thank you
This is the best film i've seen in years! Not just emotional and uplifting but also a means for me to face my demons.I forced myself to watch it over and over, until the thought of being underwater in a claustrophobic space didnt terrify me

A hero and a famewhore
Chai seems full of herself.
That is your perception and how you wish to see her. I obviously don't see that as all I see is a woman who is proud of the job that she has done here in retelling the wild boars story
