1.doing undergrad engineering from UBC and joining job
2. Doing undergrad engineering from Ryerson and doing postgrad engineering from UBC and joining job
Which is going to be better 1 or 2 ?
Only studying undergrad at UBC and doing undergrad from Ryerson+postgrad from UBC is going to cost me same as an international student.
For example undergrad at UBC is going to cost 250k
And doing undergrad at Ryerson plus postgrad at UBC is totally going to cost 250k

Shabo Jaweed thanks!! You should Google your dream schools first and find your ideal programs on their websites. On the program page you’ll find application instructions and checklist so that you can start to prepare for these materials. After then, create an account, start the application, and complete your portal. It’s not hard but just takes some time😊

I'm in my 3rd year at UBC, and I love it, even after the stress of adjusting for COVID. I know that macaroon place, and I love it, but they are soooo expensive. I even asked for them for my birthday. You work at the trampoline place?? Me and my friend got kicked out of there once a couple years ago for "shenanigans".

Apparently in september 2022 (hopefullyyy!) i will go to ubc as an undergraduate student.. although i’m gonna be 23 :D cuz i’ve checked all programs for masters degree and not a single one fits me (and my budget lmao) so i’ll try to apply at Speech Sciences program😬 i always love this type of videos of yours! hey it's ryan it can take a while to hear back from UBC they like to take their sweet time. I found out last year on vacation not till the very end of April 2019 which is really normal and earlier than many other people I know. I took a gap year and many of my friends didn’t hear back from UBC until May 2018. Don’t stress too much and best of luck!

Do u know the average score for applying this university ? I just finished my high school yet I literally do not have any plans or any goals for entering any university. But this video made me have a interest in going to UBC ? Thank you so much 😊
engineering is like 94%, Business is like 94%, science is like 92%, Arts is like 88%

Enmanuel Espinosa cepeda architecture is extremely competitive. My friend applied and later found out that only 20 people were accepted. Go for it but also don’t be discouraged if you’re rejected since it’s so hard.
@@merca2672 from my impression, science and sauder are probably both harder to get in than engineering

When the duration of the course is 24 months in UBC, is it a 2yrs programme with no vacation (holiday)or 3yrs programme with 2/3 months holiday. I'm still confused about these.

Omg haha thank youu❤️ My dorm is called the nano suite ($701/month) and it is located in Exchange Residence (an upper year residence). As a first year, you won't be able to get this room type unfortunately, BUT apply for it asap so you can be waitlisted :)
In terms of meals plans - in first year, the residence options are totem park, orchard commons, and place vanier and meal plans are mandatory for all 3! Your first year residence will only offer you a contract from Sep-April so you will have to move out and find another place after first year! In order to get the upper year residences, you have to apply for them (there are a bunch of residences and room types) and these don't come with a mandatory meal plan! That's also why I had to learn to cook after my first year haha!

Hey great video! I love the nature and scenic aspect of ubc but I heard that it rains quite a lot there (I'm from Bangladesh). If ur not the biggest fan of rain, is it tough to adjust to the climate?
Hi thank you so much!!☺️ It does rain a huge chunk of the time (but speaking from someone who doesn’t like rain), it is manageable & the sunny days make it worth!! :)

Hey, thanks so much☺️ I have friends from Singapore who go to ubc too! I personally love ubc (I’d say it’s quite diverse) and I’ve met so many friends since coming here! I definitely recommend living on residence in first year:)

I’d say ubc is very diverse! Just off the top of my head, I have friends coming from India, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Italy, the uk, Australia, hawaii, Brazil - lots! :)

Natalija Arezina thank you so much!💗 I’m not really sure what they look at for acceptance - I applied with a 93% average for arts (so depending on faculties it may differ?) and I’m sure they look at extracurriculars as well!! And living on residence in first year made it SO much easier to make friends!☺️

Leena I personally really like them and find them comfy! I wear them also everyday cuz they’re light & waterproof (still getting used to that magic) but if you’re someone who needs a lot of arch support, the experience might differ! I can only say from my experience that it’s only been positive!☺️

Luisa B haha aw💗 It’s different for everyone but I only took three classes this term so I had school only from Monday to wed (so I could go to work other days)! I study interdisciplinary studies with a focus in film studies and creative writing! And yes, I’d love to make a video of that☺️ stay tuned haha

Today the students filled out a blank timetable in the Cambridge Unlock "Reading and Writing" workbook 1 with the notes they made during that class. Overall it's been very successful, so thanks again! :)
