When applying, just stay true to yourself and be yourself (with all the questions I.e. personal essay) so you’ll stand out!! Good luck and hope to see you on campus next year😉

hey im applying to UBC this year... and i love the school. I was just wondering if you've heard that its hard to make friends at there or yourself. Ive heard from some other people they had a hard time making friends? I am from Ontario and im just nervous to move there and then not make any friends lol especially since i wont be staying in residence.

I was super nervous too and VERY convinced that I wouldn’t have friends but just remember to keep an open mind because everyone will be trying to make friends😊 I talked a bit about this today too while I was taking over UBC Prospective Students Snapchat account of you wanna go take a look at it while it’s still up! @youbcsnaps

jtcber Unfortunately! You can, however, apply for residence again for your second year. I found a place off campus!
