    I can't say enough about this training setup. I've had this in my living room for the last three months and my hands have improved noticeably. When I started the 25 drills provided with the stick handling aid, I was hitting the bars continually. Now I do 5-10 reps of each drill at high speed and almost never hit them. On the ice, I find myself threading the puck through the defender's skates or stick with ease. Get one or build your own - by September you'll see a *huge* improvement.

      I'll use objects for now to practice. I don't have the stick-handling device. I'll start with the basics especially left-hand only. Then right hand. I know the left hand has to do with the direction of the puck.. the right hand is for support and power that hand I have to keep loose. Later I'll get the stick-handling device.

    Challenge to anyone watching this video. Go out TODAY and record a video of you attempting a few of these drills. Do them every day for 1 month, and record another video. I want to see your before and after videos!

    I am doing these drills using water bottles as bars preferably the smallest ones but regular bottle sizes work too. The smaller ones work better because it is harder to clip them with the blade of your stick. Then I use a baseball (one with a weight resembling a puck) and I just do it on carpet. It is dirt cheap and works just as well.

    hey where do I get the passer and the stick handling obstacle, or better yet what are the actual names of the ideas?

  • @jasonrekker4328
    @jasonrekker4328 5 лет назад +1

    Hey Pavel, I notice you're using a green biscuit in these drills, not a regular puck. When I am practicing with a puck on a shooting pad, I'm noticing that my timing is off when I get on the ice because the puck slides so much more quickly on ice. Is that why you use the biscuit, because it slides more like a puck on ice? Wondering how to overcome this?

    • @printara_printers
      @printara_printers 5 лет назад

      Jason Rekker buy the green biscuit. It’s cheap and slides more like a puck on ice. Use is on smooth floor like concrete or the smoothest thing you can stickhandle on.

    • @jasonrekker4328
      @jasonrekker4328 5 лет назад

      @@printara_printers I have 2 green biscuits but I like to mix stickhandling with shooting etc

    • @printara_printers
      @printara_printers 5 лет назад +1

      Jason Rekker they have a green biscuit snipe too. It’s a variation to the green biscuit and it’s basically the same thing except it’s a lot more durable so you can shoot with it. I never got it but I think it’s pretty good. You may want to look it up on RUclips
