You asked for longer content and more feedback from the homeowners on the how and why. In this Home Theater Tour, Ryan will share all of the details of his home as well as his incredible journey along the way. For those joining the premiere, runtime is 1hr 22min.

I preferred the previous format personally, i like the proper tours.
A conversation like this while moving around and showing the relevant parts of the room would be nice, or a shorter tour followed by a sitdown like this. Just my 2 cents.
Still enjoyed it, glad you do these, they're always interesting and informative. Thanks!

Learning from others' experiences is invaluable, especially for us DIY guys. I'm on my second soundproofed DIY theater, and what I learned from the first time could fill a book. This longer format and less "formal" discussion was enjoyable, and I learned a lot of applicable lessons to my current build still in process. And you cannot go wrong with the KC crew, arguably the Mecca of home theater.

All I have to say is WOW! This was such a great experience. Something about seeing an upload from you and knowing it was going to be an hour and a half made it such an event for me and the family. We absolutely loved it. Made popcorn, laid down on the couch and threw the video on and kicked back. I love this new format. I think it was really cool. One possible idea and honestly this might have actually been included and I just don't remember but a quick video walk through of the home theater space with maybe some ambient music playing along would be cool. So like you walking with the camera in a first person view or something and going around the room, getting close ups of the equipment and placement, etc. I think that would be a cool way to make a video introduction and then transition it to sitting on the couch or seats, that would be pretty cool. I just get so excited to see the space haha. But honestly that is me literally just being nit picky, if that wasn't to change I would still tune in and just like tonight, me and the family would love it. Thanks so much for dropping this video, you guys really offered a lot of great advice and cool stories that we can relate to. So again, thanks and beautiful room man!!!

Youthman this was the perfect Sunday morning wake up and just hang out on the couch and put this on the tv kind of morning! Loved it. I think this is where your videos should move towards, learning more about why people do things and how they did them. The more in depth discussions is really good and very beneficial for everyone for sure! One thing I wish you would have done is a tour of his room first and show off his whole room and have him tell you about his equipment before show casing the discussion. The reason I say that is when you guys were talking about things, I just didn’t know what it looked like or even what equipment he was running to really follow along in the discussion. So for me I would say do the tour and equipment list then jump into the discussion. As much as I love the discussion part, I really enjoy looking at peoples gear, their room, how they did things and learn so for me that’s a huge part of watching your videos. The length didn’t bother me at all so I know this is more work to make longer videos ect, but man I think your on to something here! Keep up the great work, your channel is growing into something very special!

Nice interview. Don't mind the length. Was worried about it thow the length but enjoyed it!. Have home theater but with TV. Don't think would go in projector that's a whole new world lolllllllll. I have Atmos speaker I put two above couch. Was not great, that try four above couch wow the difference.
My system is a 5.2.2. Yamaha receiver Atmos you can set up to front, above or rear configuration.
But a game changer change my blue ray player LG to Panasonic one. Boy now I see a huge difference in Atmos effects, sound quality and image quality. Have 15 speakers and 2 sub's in a very small living room.
But always considering my neighbor. Since I live in and appartement.
Thanks love these tours. Learn from them also.

Cool with the lights on the electrostats and the voice control is genius! I'm intrigued in finding someone who uses dipolar speakers in a home theater, against the walls, and how it's been integrated with Dirac, which apparently is made for monopolar loudspeakers (according to them). Usually dipoles need some room behind them to prevent reflections and sound bouncing back. Finding the right amplifiers that can handle 0.5 Ohm is not easy, either. Very interesting and no nonsense presentation. Doing the blind testing of amplifiers, so great! One thing I would have appreciated would have been the schematic of the amps and speakers. Great stuff!

I loved this format. One suggestion is to break these long videos into 2-3 parts. 120 mins is daunting to start buy a 30 min part in the room, 30 min video on equipment and a 30 min video on regrets and your impressions would be perfect. You also get triple hit on RUclips cause people will watch all 3 parts in 3 days. Then you can take a couple days off and then another multi partner.
Another thing is to do a better job filming the equipment, get a good look at those monster Logan's and all of the side and rear surrounds and amd a much slower view of the rack and as you show everything, out on the screen what it is. You can break those videos up based on what is discussed.
The format is a definite winner but just missed a but of the tour part and replaced it with room discussion

Thanks Michael for all your work in putting the tour series together! However, I disagree with Ryan on the "very small dispersion - VERY focused" comment concerning the Martin Logans. If they are setup according to ML as far as the scheme of 'toe in', they have a very WIDE sweet spot and that is what parts them from any other panel / dipole speaker. My space is 18X24' and the couch with seating for three at 20 feet back from the 'Classic 9's (14' center to center) is equal across that listening spot.
I had a friend over that JUST visited another buddy with large Maggies. He said he could not listen to them because of the NARROW one sweet spot character of the ribbon panel ! He found the wide image from my ML's very enjoyable even sitting all the way to the right side!
So again, the toe in at 'closer ranges' can effect things drastically, and I hope that Ryan has tried the proper toe in setting as prescribed by ML with his 15A's. It's all about the Curvilinear panel (O: It could also be the differences in our listening spaces. Here, it is pretty empty, ATS panels only on the listening end of the room, while the speaker end is very LIVE with NO panels and a hard tile floor. Thanks again.
