Lyrics
This is it!
Breaking up or breaking through
Breaking something's all we ever do
Shoot straight, travel far
Stone crazy's all we ever are
But I don't care for lies
And I won't tell you twice
Because when all else fails
Dead men tell no tales, oh!
Shooting up away and back
A bit of guts is all that you lack
Far behind the stable door
I know you've met that horse before
But I don't care for skag
And this sure ain't no blag
At the end of the tracks and trails
Dead men tell no tales, come on!
You used to be my friend
But that friendship's coming to an end
My meaning must be clear
You know pity is all that you hear
'Cause if you're doing smack
You won't be coming back
I ain't the one to make your bail
Dead men tell no tales
Tell no tales
Tell no tales
Tell no tales
Tell no tales

Lemmy Kilmister, Fast Eddie Clarke and Philthy Animal Taylor...the greatest rock and roll tour de force ever. These bastards weren't a band, they were a FORCE OF NATURE!
Cheers mate 👍
Man, you forgot the fourth member, Jack Daniel's.

totally !!! Fcking MONSTERS of Rock
Original Motorhead members
Lemmy. Phil. Eddie. R.I.P. ALL 3.
Yes.
So Sad 😞
Technically only Lemmy is the only original member here.
Larry Wallis is dead, But Lucas Fox is still alive & recording. Maybe you should learn a bit more about the band.
Dominic die sind nicht tot, die spielen woanders weiter.
By this point Motorhead could do no wrong, I'll never tire from these tunes!
rock on
Why is your comment everywhere
Agreed
Onutube yeah I think I saw this in No Class
agreed.
A voice forged by Jack Daniels and cigarettes & an attitude created by speed, what a sound
Bomber is their best album. Perfect production and (bass sounds amazing, guitar is higher in the mix than their other 80s stuff, etc). Eddie's most lyrical, melodic lead guitarwork in his career. Nice mix of fast stuff and slow, slinky bluesy stuff.
R.I.P. to the classic MOTORHEAD lineup! 🇬🇧
Lemmy
Phil Taylor
Eddie Clarke
Fast Eddie Clarke is my favourite guitarist.
What an inspiration for all of us
Lemmy had this voice when he was born
in more ways than one
And the tache.
MOTORHEAD FOREVER!♠️🎸🤘
I wish we could turn back time
These guys were the real deal - the greatest rockband in history. Greetings from Denmark!
The beginning riff is like a hot cup of rock chocolate to me, soo comforting, like what rock music should sound like...
Best track in my opinion.
Manchester apollo boy from the day.
56 now ,still wearing 25 yr anniversary t shirt, grandkids love the music.
Lemmy I'm passing the message on,peace.
Oh yea one of the best Motörheaf songs in my opinion

R.I.P. "Fast" Eddie Clarke

@@lepetitmegot thanks
Agreed. The more time passes, the more I realise what an incredible talent Eddie was. Most obviously, he knew just exactly how to gild the lily of Lemmy’s unique bass riffs.
pardon? ...,. FAST EDDIE CLARK. /LOL
Pardon fast Eddie Clark
True legends never die!!!
Gold never gets old
Damn, I cannot quit listening to this song. I had this album back in the day (still do) I had forgotten how great this was. R.I.P. guys. One of the best bands ever!
I genuinely think it beats Overkill and Ace of Space (which are also good).
More uncontrived and honest than AoS, more "early metal heavy metal" vibes than most of Overkill.
Motorhead...best band ever....respekt from Moravia, Czech Republic 🇨🇿🤟 R.I.P.
A classic
The classic line-up,phenomenal post!!!
Their huge rock'n'roll was the roughest humanity will ever know...
2021. Now, they are all dead men... But they still tell a lot of beautiful tales.
Lemmy.....immortal!!!Motorhead.....alive.
This has to be the most badass song ever written 😎
From the Bomber Album, Masterpiece song, much more than just R&R. To the Eternal Heavy Legends⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Another nugget from the classic line-up.
The epic recording where it seemed to blow a wind in the studio, very good.
Heavy metal in best form

Best ever!!!
Just missed the 'classic' Motorhead line up. Went on school Sking Trip to Italy when they played ( Ironfist Tour, 1982 ). Saw them a year later ( Another Perfect Day Tour, 1983 ). Regret going on that trip now. :-(
I don't mean to rub it in but I saw them in 1980 and 82.
@@CelticSaint feel sick now....
@@jamestidmarsh4913 Before the gig in 1982 I stood next to Lemmy whilst he played a game of Asteroids. Sorry bud.
If i was gonna make a movie i would have 2 things
1 it would be a 60s style western
2 motorhead needs to be the soundtrack to the movie

Genial!!! Otra sorpresa de Lemmy 😎 realmente nos engañó a todos como dijo en su dvd jejeje
ROCK & ROL
Raw power.👍🤘🤘🤘🤘
Lemmy’s voice was so powerfull he could shout « THIS IS IT » at 15ft from the mic.
He shouted it at the sound check and that’s the echo. Astounding.

Love this one. Classic Motörhead.
saddest thing is their all gone

@@nookiebroon4424 wherever, I got the idea mate
Phil Campbell is still alive
Motorhead were always a great band. But there was something magical about the original lineup. The Holy Trinity of Motorhead "Overkill", "Ace of Spades" and "No sleep 'till Hammersmith" are must haves in any Motorhead collection.
Lucas Fox & Larry Wallis aren't on this track.
What about Bomber?
I love the first too (1977).
The Ace, the Fast and the Animal. Trio Dead. Un saludo.
does anyone remember how hard it was to get motorhead music in the us during the 90's?
In 90's all good music was hard to find without good internet. I remember how download st.anger video for a week! 2002!))
@@ekbJackson You said St. Anger BOOOOOOOOOOO That album sucks
@@JAG214 all Metallica suck man.
Easier than it was in the early 80's. I paid $30 and had to wait a month for an import of Bomber.
It took me nearly 2 years to find Iron Fist as it was out of print. I finally found a used copy.
Thanks for uploading this, it`s in my top three along with Bomber and Motorhead.
Thank's lemmy for your musical legacy,
Милые звуки детства.
Cool
Pff yeah!!!!!!! De pocamadre

Always been one of my favorites. I think it may have been inspired by the album producer's habit.
