I was born and raised in Nashville my mom worked for WSM radio and got to be very good friends with George Jones and his wife Nancy. When my step father passed away suddenly George paid for his funeral. He was a great guy! I really enjoy all the videos you make but I love the ones on my home town!

Thank you Jordan for bringing us with you to the Nashville cemetery. It’s nice the families get to put pictures and stuff up for their loved ones. Growing up I listened to different types of music including country music. Loved all those country stars. The ones who have passed and are laid to rest in that very nice place. It’s got to be my favorite cemetery. If one can have a favorite cemetery. Please do go back sometime to see some of the other country stars who are laid to rest there. Thank you for all you do. God bless

I’ve enjoyed many interviews with DJ Fontana. He was a really good and humble guy. I dove all in studying Elvis beginning of pandemic and still through today. There’s just so much out there snd then branch off of Elvis to The Sweet Inspirations, or individually find stuff on members of the Memphis mafia guys. It’s never ending.

    Hello from England
Thanks for posting this interesting video about all the famous Country Music Stars of Nashville.
J D Sumner is laid to rest their. As as a teenager in the 70's I remember listening to Tammy Wynette but sadly she died young
Lynn Anderson - i also remember listening to "i never promised you a Rose Garden"
I loved all the American country music from the 70's mostly but some 80's as well
Gordon Stoker there and also D J Fontana -its great to see they are at rest near each other.
Looking at this video it makes me think of the time that has passed . 40-50 + years OH MY
I was 12 when ELVIS died and have been a FAN ever since.

A little known JD and Tammy Wynette story, when JD performed here in Kentucky, the bus they were traveling in belonged to Tammy. It had Tammy Wynette on the side of it. She had already passed. JD's bus caught on fire sometime before the performance. Tammy's husband loaned JD the bus til he could get another one. How do I know this story? JD told us in a real deep voice. BTW, the whole auditorium vibrated when JD sang or talked. My shirt even vibrated.

The table with the sign-in book, photos, etc. are primarily for *Lynn Anderson* . In fact, the photo you showed and identified as LIZ Anderson, was actually LYNN. Altho' Liz & Casey (Lynn's parents) were very successful songwriters, it was *LYNN* who was the '70s superstar. Her "Rose Garden" was a No.1 hit in 16 countries around the world, which was unheard of in 1971. Lynn's crypt had all that fan memorabilia similar to Tammy's, but I see it's now gone. The family must have removed it, opting for the sign-table with free photos, etc. of Lynn. Thanks again for another great video.

J.D. had a whole career AFTER Elvis too. His last 20 yrs or more, he sang with Bill Gaither's Homecoming Videos. He was deeply religious. His son still sings with the Homecoming folks whenever Bill gets one going. J.D.'s world record was broken, I wanna say 2 yrs ago. He held it for a long time though. I love him in the Homecoming videos, they are all available via you tube........great episode Jordan:-)

The one night Johnny came in and I wanted an autograph. My hubby grabbed one of his paycheck stubs and Johnny saw it. It was for i think $5.00. Johnny said "Dam boy, you need to get another job". Then he signed it. Nice guy. I miss working there. Met a lot of singers.

I love your videos! But I always get a kick whenever I see you or anyone on YT post about Woodlawn and the country stars buried there. I have a lot of family (and like half of Nashville) buried there, so often we don't think much of the celebrity factor there. 😆 But it's cool seeing that perspective if it, especially since I drive by there often. I went from thinking about my family being there to thinking about how their physical resting places (and likely my future spot as well) are among the stars. Then again, the fam has extra burial plots, maybe we can market those with that angle for some major $$$ 😂✌️
