- I have been wanting a nice enclosed 2 car trailer for a very long time and while looking for cars at the auction this trailer popped up and after a few auctions the insurance company finally gave up and sold it to me for super cheap.

Building the Ultimate Station Wagon Charger Magnum Hellcat.
I bought an 18 foot Haulmark enclosed trailer to haul my race car and its performed well for the first 4500 miles or so. While on a road trip, one of the leaf springs supporting the axles, broke but fortunately, it was just as I was pulling into my motel for the night. A word to the wise; check those trailer springs and the shackles that link them. They may suffer from micro cracks which can cause their failure. I've learned that these stock leaf springs are underrated for the loads that they are supposed to support. Upgraded springs and shackles for my smaller dual axle trailer were about $500 and then another grand for the mobile mechanic to install them. Also, your tire failure may have been caused by the misalignment of the axle. I noticed the same on mine after the new springs were installed and the mechanic told me to have the alignment double checked when I got home. One of my tires went bald, inexplicably from the others, and I caught it before it could have blown out. The tire installer told me that such abnormal wear is most always because the axle is misaligned, especially since the tires were all of the same age and brand, as OEM installed.
Oh, one additional comment about Haulmark; the dealer from whom I bought the trailer in Utah, Trailer Source, was terrific. He did the axle alignment, checked over the new springs, shackles and the trailer generally and replaced many of the screws that attach the skin to the frame of the thing. They had loosened and fallen out while under way. I complained to Haulmark themselves by email and got nothing but crickets...nada, zippo. My feeling is that after paying $7400 for a brand new trailer, rated to carry the 5200 lbs. load of the trailer and the car inside, some greater longevity should be expected. I'm hoping that you get better service from your rig than I did mine, as yours is more robust than mine with the diamond plate floor, cabinets and a/c unit atop. You paid less than I did for mine but mine was new, and still had issues.
All in all I think you made a pretty good score on that trailer.
With a triple axle I don’t think you need the 8 lug bigger wheels.
I did similar drive from Houston to Dallas to Denver. Your spot on with the relief of seeing civilization, whole bunch of nothing in NW Texas and New Mexico 😂
Nice trailer for the money. Shouldn't be too hard to make it how you want it. I sold my dually because I have an enterprise truck rental nearby. For how often I need to haul something nowadays, it's way cheaper to rent.

Right angle the corners and led strip the length with marine carpet on the walls to protect the doors when opening on the charger no matter where the car is in the trailer and gives it a nice clean uniform look
Yeah it's a little worn. But you can customize it make it your own.

You don't have to follow Google Map's suggestions. Just stay on the highway and it will redirect on your current path. Looks like the trailer will be awesome when you get it all fixed up.

I think they had a wall between them countertops & were the car goes and that's way that ewitch & plug is hanging lose. to keep the AC in that area.

I don't understand why you'd trust a GPS. I drove a semi for 20 yrs. I only used a GPS as a reference guide. Sure it'd tell me I could save x-amout of time if I followed it. But I knew for a fact by taking the smaller roads would take more time and fuel.

If you believe our GPS, it wants me to drive through woods to get home. There's a couple of places where roads only exist in theory but aren't actually there. I had one time when I was driving to Brisbane when it took me the long way over a bridge that was miles out of my way. Sometimes .....???

You definitely have a buying problem but this is a really good deal
Talk about issues. Check yourself in the mirror For the price you paid. Try and find similar unit on market. When you compare the pulling rigs. Try next time to get same class of truck. A Ford F 350 against a general motors 1 1/2 ton truck put Ford cab/chassis on the bottom.
Try a F-550 and see the difference.
An f350 has the same engine and trans as a 550 not sure what you are talking about 350s are made to pull these trailers

Drive a 550 and you will see/feel the difference then. match one to GMproduct you drove in video. I'm 74 yrs old and only bought one GM truck, glad the lemon law judge saw what I went through and awarded twice what I paid for it ,(only reason I bought it, my Ford was stolen from pilot station and needed a truck right then to move the trailer load of horses the thieves left)

So, you bid on a trailer with 8 lug wheels and when you pick it up it has 6 lug?????? How did that happen. Did you just miss count or did the action stick it to you. Six or 8 doesn't really matter as you won't be hauling 20,000 ponds
The more gears they add, the more failures you get. That said, buy a GMC.
The ten speeds are pretty nice though. They've been doing well in the ZL1 camaro and mustangs
