I’ve had great success with Topiramate. Yes there are side effects but it’s very successful at reducing the severity and frequency of my migraines. I’ve heard of terrible side effects of CGRPs and do not want to try them, even if they helped my migraines as well.
Migraines is awful. I wish I was not born to take this excruciating pain. Have tried CGRP (Aimovig 70mg per month), Amytriptalin, and Botox all together but nope. not as efficient as expected.
