Love this kind of content, so more is always welcome. ^^ I watch all the "What your class tells about you" stuff on both GW2 and FF14, alltho in FF14 these type of content is often about race, since lewd catgirls etc are endless source of content to be recycled. :D Your editing and humor skillz is always legit quality, so you can conjure entertaining content about anything prolly tbh

I played at launch too, then some more a few years ago, but what do you do to keep enjoying it? I log on, first fight Inventory Wars to clear all birthday presents and kill some world bosses and just log off again.

A gw2 main since 2018 and yea I can confirm that community is super chill after never really fitting into a community anywhere else. It was super eye opening when I was healing for a group event and the people I was with actually wanted to help me learn rather then the tank calling me a slur before leaving the instance lol.
I stumbled across this video while trying to find something to pull me from MMO purgatory after burning myself out on Last Epoch (I need PvP). I was looking at my Steam library when the nomad portion of the video hit, and it was perfectly spot-on. Man.
Spot on about guild wars. I have 2500 hours in it, it's got to be the least toxic player base I've ever seen. It's almost as if everybody is super high and just chilled out while playing it

Funny thing is, I've been playing Runescape since 2005, but since 2018 I've been hotswappiing between ESO, WoW (wotlk), and New World, so I'm almost a bit of everything lol

I identify as both Guild Wars 2 and FF14 player.. so i guess that makes me a Pleasant Degenerate, who is polite, nice and does not get offended like a typical one game andy when someone talks about my games. :D Wait a minute, it actually all makes sense, i even have a damn PFP that has a GW2 character wearing cat ears lmao 😹
Alltho, whenever RUclips algorithm throws any random ESO clip on my front page, i do occasionally go in and post some random salty comment about that cursed game, that comes from past traumatic wounds in my soul that years of Cyrodiil lag, the worst balancing, decision making and itemization of any mmo ever caused. I cannot help it. Outside that i am quite pleasant and harmless. :D

Aww you included Lotro in the list, such a chill game with the best lore out of all MMORPG's. And probably has the least predatory in-game shop. I wish it was more popular though but it has its problems for sure, mainly the lag that shows up all the time, yea kind of important for a persistent online game..

I got back into eso and all I do is harvest mats in one of the starting areas for 2 hours a day
Played like all but lotro, Albion, and aoc out of this list, and yeah pretty much spot on
As a NW MAin, i agreee on your NW take, and oh boy do i have to agree on the Ashes Guys (still wish them the best and fun, but alpha 2 will be an eye opener for all who think it is for them).
One thing to mention about Nomads. After they’ve played your MMO for a week or so, they will have become experts at the game. And they use that free time of “not playing anything” to scroll through subreddit pages and RUclips videos, making sure everyone knows all of the flaws and how much they dislike your MMO and how it’s a dead game. Why you ask? Because they’re just bored and like to watch the world burn.
What do you have to say about those stuck in Everquest :) I use to cycle back to that every 4-5 years for comfort but not anymore. Now I'm a nomad with not where to go and no hope for the future as I'm not on the AoC bandwagon.
Nomad here. Started playing MMOs in 2001. First 10 years where such good times. Next 5 years where "okay". Now it's a train wreck.
yeah I'm a main swtor 'ler and sometimes I try other mmos (FF14, eso) but always come back and then start lamenting about the game and how great it could have been. Maybe I should write a Shakespearian drama about it.
I think the majority of gaming addicts are Nomads now, we're all just chasing the playerbase (each other) from launch to launch
For me, im one of the older players (34) - i played several years WoW (OG till WotLK), tried/played every MMO that is on the list (mostly just 1-3months) besides Black Desert, i played aswell a couple years when it came out and recently picked it up again, its pretty fun.
But i see myself as a Nomad, because i dont really stick to one.
I cope aswell regards AoC.. i dont think it will be THE MMO but i just hope it will be fun for a longer time than just the average.
I find it funny that this video kind of implies that I'm either a nomad until the next great thing or I'm a GW2 main the moment I get married.

Now I learned that I'm a Nomad and I'm starting to feel depressed because you mentioned that we are the people that have no home and how did you know that I keep scrolling everday just to find a right mmorpg to play...I have tried many mmorpg even all that is mentioned in this video but just none of it that can make me feel home...those that I loved before have been shutdown like Tera, Emil Chronicle Online, Iris Online, and even though Blade & Soul and Ragnarok Online is still there but it has becoming unrecognizable to me because of it's p2w, and Mabinogi is a dead game...now I only hope and wait for Throne & Liberty, Blue Protocol and Mabinogi UE update...

Lol I'm a nomad mainly because I'm trying to find people to play something with been soloing for about 4 years and tired of it just can't find people.
ESO has become a join a prog/trial grp for HM/trifecta, a relax and do a quest to fall asleep, and pvp when I feel angry and want to take it out on other players. GW2 to relax and have a more balanced gameplay in pvp and pve. Other than that I'm soo lost and waiting to find a mmo home. 2053 will be the year remember this!

I do love Guild Wars 2 and yeah i'm 30 and have a husband and daughter, it's also true I only play it now to fulfill my mmo needs while also running a busy life xD
Us GW2 mains just long time had acknowledged it's not perfect, but perfect for us. sorta. It's not the coolest, shiniest, definitely not the hardest or most competitive, but it's just the homiest for us and overall a nice neighborhood for our retirement house [or relaxing cabin--] 🤣🤣

I used to play mmos when I was younger then I quit my main mmo in search of something better. However as I keep searching I kept getting older, and realized mmos just aren't for me anymore.

im on nomad mode, i started with Chinese and Turk mmo, to wow, then changed to console as to play elder scrolls, back to pc and new world and manny pay to waiste my money games, even fps and moba, i stoped my addiction an started with religions as all old folks...
And yes, i got a mail from " Ashes of creation " to play in some beta for 200$ fee, i wanted to show my size back to them, but sadly my replay button didn't work...
